I stayed in a room with a queen bed. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was extremely small. The area is gorgeous and within walking distance of the ocean. There are a lot of relatively inexpensive motels in the area, but for a little more money, you can stay in here. It's definitely worth it.

What a delightful and quaint place to spend a quiet and peaceful vacation. A chef prepared breakfast every morning and sumptuous happy hour layout are included in the price of nightly stay; including excellent local wines. Just a block from the oceanfront and the lighthouse is just around the corner. Our second time here and we will be back.

The Lighthouse Lodge is cute. We stayed in a small room with one queen bed. The room was clean and simple with open beam ceiling painted white. The bathroom was small. People were friendly. The bed was comfortable, but pillows were stiff. This hotel is conveniently located near the lighthouse and aquarium.

We stayed in a Lodge King room which was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms plus balconies. We could see and hear the ocean from our balcony which made it a very nice place to sit and relax.

My wife and I came here for a little getaway and found this place to very nice retreat. We really loved the location, which is a short walking distance to the coast near Asilomar. It is too far to walk to the main shopping area, but we prefer the quietness and being closer to the ocean. We had the Junior...

Arrived early but not allowed to check in until 4. That was ok but when you tell someone "Good Morning" with a smile, you would expect one back. Room was clean and housekeeping was efficient but WiFi was horrible. Glad it was free, otherwise would have asked for a refund. My cell phone service was limited to certain parts of...

Nice and clean, quiet and well furnished with good bathrooms. Only negative is the under cottage partying, when someone drives in the building shakes and you almost fall out of bed when they slam their car doors!

Good value for the price, excellent location, walking distance to everything from Monterrey wharf to the lighthouse. Nice and quiet with in-room fireplace and nice spa close by. Typical motel breakfast, nothing to write home about.

Overall room remodel was nice, however they missed some areas. The shower door did not close, windows were not replaced, the balcony railing was rotted. We were afraid that the balcony would cave in if we stepped out on it. We Didn't appreciate the graveyard view or the loud vibrating noise from the wall heater at 3:00AM. The evening check...

First... Lyle at the front desk was terrible, uncooperative, not customer oriented, or friendly and was "totally put out" to having to help or ask for assistance on anything from the room not being correct to additional pillows, and providing wrong room # with keys. Second, the facility is being remodeled, what they have done is good, but needs improvement...
