Checked in early and expeditiously, and room was ready. Accommodated my request for a room facing towards back of the hotel on top-floor. Nice view of the snow covered mountains. The hotel hallways reflect a more dated atmosphere. The room did not have that dated feel. A bit more contemporary. Large HDTV with many channels, but difficult to figure out how to use the remote control to easily change channels using the channel guide. Only two bath towel sets provided. Usually you get three. Decent sized refrigerator. HVAC system works very well, and is quiet. Smallish clothes closet but lots of table space to put things on. The fitness room is small with limited machines. But they have a good set of free weights, and exercise balls. Parking is plentiful and free. Front desk is very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast eggs, etc. changes slightly daily. Food is hot. Waffle makers are efficient. Lots of choices to meet virtually every dietary need. And it's all complimentary. Notwithstanding the above, prices during March (highest season) are outrageous. Not a great value this time of year.…
Nothing fancy no-frills but it was perfect for what we needed for a weekend family getaway reunion. Would highly recommend this. Other hotels wanted more than $200 per night. Since this was going to be a weekend with just sleeping in the hotel and not really using a lot of the accommodations it was the perfect amount. I love that they gave me a AAA discount even after I booked it a month before. Great customer service. The breakfast was good to.
This was a very expensive cheap hotel. The quality I was expecting having paid over $400/night was lacking. The room was nothing special and would be considered nice in a cheap hotel. But for the price one expects doorknobs that are not broken, lamps that don’t wobble , clean towels daily.
Having a clean room is expected. However, many places fail when it comes to keeping up with the common areas, especially during breakfast. Hallways were kept clean, and the trash cans in common areas were maintained. Breakfast was good. Counters kept clean. Tables were more difficult to manage, but it was a full-capacity weekend with a large number changing over.
The Hampton Inn is a very good option for Palm Desert. Location is great. It is clean, well maintained and the staff is very helpful. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn. We will stay here again.
My wife and I were looking for a hotel to stay at so we could make an easy trip to get to the Palm Springs Airport. We found it here at this great hote. First, it is easy on/off the freeway, but far enough so you don't get airport noise. Next, the location gave us the ability to refuel our rental car at a great cost. The hotel is awesome in so many ways. The staff are wonderful, the room was great, and the stay was just what we needed for a good nights sleep before flying out the next morning early. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone.
Nice hotel. Easy access to the freeway. Clean rooms. and personable staff l. Very quiet rooms. Breakfast is included in your stay. Always love the waffles. Also Pool and fitness centers are at this hotel.
Hotel is in a convenient location right off I-10 in a development with a AM-PM and Jack in The Box. The property overall was very well maintained and we were upgraded to a suite and appreciated the additional space. Staff was outgoing and very professional. The negative thing about this property was it felt outdated and in need of renovation. I don't know if I would stay here again, there are niceer hotels in the same price range in the immediate area.
We were very welcome upon arrival and room was ready , very clean room and pool area was ok . What we loved was the next day breakfast with everything fresh and delicious with a lot of verity , fresh fruit and coffe
Clean, friendly, and always accommodating. We tried the Embassy Suites and walked out due to filth and the staff. Thank goodness the Hampton Inn is always reliable. Never worry about getting a good nights rest here. And the staff will only solidify your faith.
