First, let me say I never hesitate to leave a bad review. I did not experience the negative issues some posted. We have used this resort since 1994. As we get a little older, we appreciate the quiet views at Jasmine Court. If you want to be close to the action, stay at the main entrance. I do think the staff should monitor mask compliance at the gym OR rearrange the aerobic equipment. The unit was very clean, furniture & beds comfy. The front desk was very helpful on several occasions. My only suggestion which I asked for last time: The smaller pools between the buildings used to be adult only. PLEASE give us an adult only pool on this property!! We are impressed that things went as well at this resort after a turbulent year and we will be back next year.

Had a four night stay at Villas II and for the most part we enjoyed our visit. We had booked through a third party company which I'll never use again, because check in was more complicated than it needed to be, based on lack of knowledge by front desk staff. A little disappointed to notice mask protocol was not enforced as much as it could have been around the property. We stayed in the Jasmine Court section of Villas II, and the first couple of evenings were quite pleasant. We had an upstairs unit facing the mountains and one of the two golf courses. The golf course was closed while we were there, so it was very quiet sitting on the balcony overlooking the golf course on the first two evenings. However, after the first two evenings, a large group of families traveling together arrived and all bets were off as far as respect for quiet. My husband had to shout down to the group one evening as they were partying and loud talking well into the later evening hours. The pool was lovely and quiet during the first two days, but then again, more folks arrived including one group of five men ranging in age, a couple of grownups and three kids of various ages. On that afternoon, they were so loud and unruly that other folks who had been enjoying the pool got up and left when they started jumping in and out of the water and lamenting they hadn't brought a football so they could toss it around. There was even a security guard there and he didn't do anything to let them know they were disturbing other guests. We specifically asked for a quiet area of the resort, so it's too bad this group of five had to spoil the pool experience for everyone else. Aside from that, the fitness room at Jasmine Court was well maintained and clean, as were the grounds around the buildings. Then again, on our checkout day, we noticed someone had left an empty champagne bottle at the bottom of a flight of steps and there was a ground beef taco with lime wedges lying on the ground by someone's truck. Seriously, what does it take for people not to be pigs in a common area?

Nice place, but this is a pot hotel. Unless you like the continuous stench of pot, maybe stay someplace else. Although it is a non-smoking property, security doesn’t enforce the policies. Called security regarding our concerns…but they did not respond.

Hi Connie, thank you for your review. We are a non-smoking property with smoking absolutely not permitted in our villas. There is a $250 cleaning fee per villa for this violation. Thank you for your report and we are sorry if there were any oversights during your vacation by security after your report. We do hope you enjoyed your stay with us otherwise.

I had service issues but this is a well kept quasi-resort property that offers clean accommodations and a decent night's sleep. Unfortunately, it offered me nothing more since no one explained the property's amenities upon check-in, which seemed to be a roundabout way of discouraging their use for "certain people". Upon check-in at 4:30 PM, I was told by a clerk that she had to change my room because the one I was assigned wasn't available yet. This place has a check out time of 10:00 AM, so how a room could be unready six and a half hours later seems shady to me. As a brown person, I'm suspicious when rooms suddenly have to be changed when people see me. The clerk also couldn't be bothered with writing my room number on the key card envelope. Again, I was super annoyed that she didn't explain any of the resort amenities to me as I probably would have liked to use the pool and fitness center (but sometimes establishments feel the need to discourage certain people from doing that). Perhaps even the spa if booking was available for people staying at Villas II. My room was at front of the property. It was the building closest to security at the entrance gate. Very clean but tiny room. When they say 200 square feet on the website, they mean it. Decor was typical for a mid range hotel and everything was in excellent condition. Bed was very comfortable. Couch was a sleeper that was poorly designed for sitting - odd height. There weren't any USB charging outlets and the room's outlets were generally in difficult to reach locations. Not the most well thought out in room amenities. Dishes and cups were provided but the room lacked sufficient surfaces nearby to plate a meal on. TV worked fine. There was a fridge. Poor ventilation in the bathroom. My room did not have a separate tub and shower as advertised on the property's website. I did not hear my neighbors while staying here. The room had a tiny patio that overlooked a meh golf course with holes between the different wings of rooms, which are arranged like townhouses. The noise of the go carts and teeing was a bit annoying when sitting on the balcony, not to mention having different people under your window every few minutes. At night, you can see the flames from fire pits around the property, which gave the place a very Disney feel. There are some amenities, like Starbucks, about two miles from the property. Wish I had more nice things to say. This is supposed to be a resort and I feel like I was encouraged to only sleep here. It's a tad expensive and too much of a trek into Palm Springs for just sleeping, but my guess is that some people are really encouraged to enjoy their time here.
