What a disappointment. In town for a national juniors tennis tournament. Was listed as a hotel for players & families. Images on line do not accurately depict the state of the rooms. It is an older hotel that could be so much more. The exterior has some visible damage to the front that needs repair. The rooms are awful honestly. Our AC didn’t work for the first night…it was hot. The shower runs hot and hotter & hardly any water pressure. Shower/tub didn’t drain either. Asked maintenance to fix AC, the filters were disgusting, obviously not changed regularly. The hotel has potential but the guest rooms need to be upgraded, AC & plumbing need to work and furnishings are old. Had I checked reviews and not relied on the tournament recommending this site I would have stayed at a clean and comfortable hotel. Hilton needs to fix this place up for guests.…
The Embassy Suites is an outdoor hotel. The pool is very nice, the breakfast is good, the hotel staff is so damn awesome, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool was very nice. I can't wait to go back!!
This was $800/night! dirty soiled room that smelled horrible. The bed was uncomfortable. the carpet was stained. Cracks in the sink and shower. Lukewarm shower. You would have to pay me to stay there.
Not like any other Embassy Suites I’ve stayed in. More of a cheesy motel feel. Room was very dated and worn. Rusted door frames, dirty carpets, dirty or moldy grout in bath. Being in an upscale area such as Palm Springs we expected MUCH better than we experienced. Holiday Inn would be a better choice.
No room available for a Guarantied reservation. Clerk could not have cared less! The morning clerk gave me a room at 7:30 the next morning so a room WAS available 5 hours earlier when I checked in. Clerk was a jerk!
Nice all suites hotel in the Coachella Valley. Close to shopping. Free parking. Breakfast and smiles from the friendly front desk staff. Comfortable King size bed, sectional sofa and dinette. Rooms have refrigerator and Microwave
Our first room had a stinky wet spot on the carpet and cockroach on the ceiling so we switched immediately. Both rooms looked like nothing had been upgraded or refreshed since the 1980's. The free breakfast was fine except they were out of cheese at the omlette bar for our entire stay. Albertsons next door had plenty of cheese. They do a nice job with the grounds outside but other than that, this property is a stinker and far below the standards of any Embassy Suite Hotel I have stayed in the past.
I have stayed at Embassy Suites since I was a kid. I loved how luxurious it was and I wanted to now share those memories with my family. At first it was promising, the lobby was beautiful and clean, check in was easy, the attendant was nice, but then it ended. When we got to the room it was dark (the room itself is very dark). I took a shower and the water was freezing, front desk said you had to wait a while for it to warm up! The room has stained carpet, the pullout had dirty sheets, the bathroom has mold and the door needs repair. To top it off, air conditioning/heater didn’t work properly. Room was 75 and wouldn’t get any cooler, kept pumping out hot air. The elevators are OLD and need remodeling. Our worst part was when we called for more towels, they never sent them up. Never. We called again and they said they’d send them up, never did. When my husband went to the lobby there was no apology, just handed us the towels. Only plus was the lobby and breakfast area. The rest was terrible! I’m so sad that this was my husband and kids view of what was once a very luxurious brand. We won’t be staying at one again.…
We were there for a basketball tournament. There were several things in the room that did not work and the bathroom sink clogged. The wifi did not work our entire time, the safe didn't work and the light switches didn't work. Breakfast was crowded, cold and we had to constantly wait for items to be replaced.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and am shocked that the Hiltons are okay with their names on it. Walking into first room assigned to us we were overwhelmed by the musty odor. When I opened the armoire to hang clothes, I absolutely refused to put my clothes in there. My husband called the front desk and asked to be moved, which they did. However, it wasn’t a whole lot better than the first one. As long as we didn’t open the armoire doors, it was okay. The bed was not made properly and the fitted sheet was so small it barely fit over the mattress. The air conditioning didn’t keep the room cool and since you can’t open the ‘permanently sealed’ slider, the room was almost unbearable to sleep in. Thank goodness we were able to open the room door in the morning let all the warm air out to cool room off. Don’t know how long it’s been since the carpets were cleaned, but I’m guessing since the place was built. The curtains to the slider that doesn’t open, has nasty food stains on them right were you would grab them to open. I was totally grossed out. Although the couch ‘looks’ like it’s been cleaned, it has stains on it as well. I’ve been in Embassy Suites rooms in the past and was looking forward to staying here. Now, I doubt very much that I will EVER stay in another one. Totally disgusted.…
