Only umbrellas outside for 1/3 of guests. At 100 degrees unbearable. Rooms all beat up. Staff as stupid as can be. Front desk check in awful. They have no floor map. I asked for a room in a certain area. The response, "That's not in your category booked." I booked the highest category and on explaining that, I get a vacant, "Oh." Can't tell you how stupid these people are. Bad computer systems at front desk. Asked for a bathrobe day 1. Asked 4 times over 8 hours. It was delivered on day 2. Showers very low water. A trickle. Asked 3 times for a check out folio. Never got it. Phone almost never answered, maybe if you wait 30 rings. Only stay if you get a room with a balcony. Book that category. Even then they might not give it to you. Because they are sooooo stupid!! Only plus is breakfast was rather good. Food good. This place is very badly managed. Not up to Marriott standards. Someone else should operate it.

Stayed here for a conference. This hotel is very close to the airport, not walking distance, but a very inexpensive Uber ride. If you want a balcony room, you must request it. The room we received was spacious and quiet. As the hotel is very large, it was quite a walk to the room, so prepare for that. The pool area was nice and relaxing and the conference facilities were nice as well. There was a restaurant inside the hotel if you wanted to have breakfast there. I would not hesitate to stay here again - we had a fabulous stay. Downtown is three block away and totally walkable.

We were here for a business meeting. Our room was upgraded to a suite. We had lots of room and it was furnished beautifully. It took a while to figure out the lighting situation. It was a little confusing. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work at all. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was set at 69 degrees and could not be adjusted lower. The room was quite warm. The hallways were even warmer. The staff was nice. The pool is very nice and had plenty of loungers (although some are need of replacing due to sun damage and being ripped). Pool bar was short staffed and it took up to 45 minutes to get drinks. Also self serve water stations were empty quite often. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown. The conference center is attached to the hotel. The casino is a block away. It’s a nice place to stay despite some issues.

Our stay at the Renaissance has been a five star experience from the moment my boyfriend and I checked in! The front desk allowed us to check in early and the staff there were so kind and welcoming. We spent the afternoon by the pool on a beautiful lounge area and enjoyed the drinks and food. Shoutout to Gordie and the pool deck staff for the amazing service and for helping us to have a great afternoon in Palm Springs!

The lobby and common areas have been nicely renovated. The rooms need a refresh starting with the mattresses. They are very soft, which I could live with, but they dipped in the middle. Definitely worn out! Furniture had stains and water spots on the wood tables. The bathroom, although it was clean, the lighting was horrible for applying makeup or drying hair. The restaurant looked nice, but was only open for breakfast, and since I was working I didn’t get a chance to try it. Your only option for dinner is not-so-good bar food. The pool area is their saving grace. Very nice. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We hadissues getting housekeeping to clean the room daily.

Great property, comfy beds, ok food, older gentleman at the front desk was rude on multiple occasions, pool can sometimes be understaffed. Room was a good size and the balconies are awesome. Would stay again :)

Awesome pool and staff were super friendly! Very helpful when room wasn’t right and offered to help immediately. We came as a family but fit right in despite a younger crowd. Everyone accommodated our kids so well (even when they stole all the lilos)!
