Certainly the perfect weather during my trip is impacting my review, but I still believe that the this resort was one of the best I have experienced. Angel and William were incredibly professional and friendly at the front desk. Mat worked hard serving food and drinks both at the indoor bar and poolside with top-notch service. Diane and Janet were delightful at brunch each morning. I started each day in the clean and functional fitness center, watching the sun rise through the floor to ceiling windows. Next, I devoured a huge and delicious brunch buffet (seriously, the made-to-order omelets are amazing!) for only $18. Then, I spent the day by the pool, reading and writing, as this was a solo trip for me. They have a new lunch menu that was pretty good. Some of the items could use a little more flavor but overall, good and healthy options. The sun was perfectly warm from about 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. When the sun went behind the building at 3:30 and shade covered the pool area, I could hop in the hot tub for another hour or so if I wasn't ready to pack up yet. There were a couple creepy, local "pool hoppers" on the prowl that kept interrupting me when I was clearly engrossed in my book. Perhaps having a key-entry to the pool area would put a stop to this. The rooms/halls were a little bit dated but still comfortable and welcoming. I recommend a balcony overlooking the pool and mountains. (Some just overlook the pool.) I walked downtown in the evening to grab some dinner. The hotel is across the street from a movie theater if there is a rainy day and only about an easy 8-minute walk to restaurants. The lobby and bar are gorgeous, and I would spend time reading and writing there in the evenings. If it had been a bit warmer, I would have spent evenings on the patio adjacent to the pool area, as it is filled with beautiful furniture and fire pits. The pantry store has a wide variety of breakfast, snack, and dessert foods - and a salad or wrap too. It was a great experience. I don't often return to hotels, but I will be back! (And I'm glad I didn't choose the Hilton, which is the other hotel I considered.) Thank you for a great vacation!

I read a lot of great reviews here but feel mislead. The best thing about hotels is room service. There is no room service here even though their website says there is. Hot stuffy rooms with AC only going down to 70 degrees- which is not AC... it's heat. The restaurant staff did not know how to seat people. The host was the most inefficient host ever and with what seemed like dozens of open tables made everyone wait up to 30 minutes to be seated. Expensive parking. Masks not enforced.

Really great customer service. I enjoyed the fact that she made us feel welcomed immediately upon entry. If everyone was like Myra no one would leave this hotel because of how awesome she is. Great person all in all!

First hotel we booked was less than impressive. We cancelled mid stay and booked here instead. I’m so happy my husband chose this hotel. Friendly staff, very clean rooms. Alexandria at check in was awesome! Room was perfect. Thanks for saving this vacation.
