This place is beautiful in terms of the grounds, pools and scenery. Rooms are a little small, service mixed and a bit snooty. If you are not one of the young and beautiful people the staff seems to have a bit of an attitude with you. The housekeeping was poor, food options limited and expensive and they just don't make...

Dear FredSiegel, This is disappointing to read. 'Snooty' is not something we're accustomed to hearing about our team. Please do accept our apologies for this perceived attitude. We have 6 different food locations, none of which share any menu items. You can be spoiled for choice while at the Estate. The newest is Counter Reformation which recently opened to rave...

....for a manager from the Parker Palm Springs to call me back! i handled all the arrangements and booked my boss and his wife here. there were MANY hotels in Palm Springs to book but we chose this one. i have never heard of this but a company bought out the entire hotel - grounds and all. Dear outtahere2, Please accept our apologies for the perceived lack of care. We have no record of any call being received regarding your concern. All reservations are clearly noted at booking for a 12 p.m. check out. Of course, I would like to understand how and where this breakdown occured. I head to Norma’s at the Parker for retro-hipster brunch every time I’m in Palm Springs, but I’d never stayed at the actual hotel until recently. Honestly, I feel like the ever-instagrammable main lobby area (#shamelessselfies everywhere you look), gardens, and Norma’s- ie, all the spaces you can tour on your own without being an overnight guest- are by far...

Dear spendyourdays, We're glad you have enjoyed your experiences at Norma's and appreciate the design of the hotel. The staff, as you noted being "incredibly helpful and accommodating" is the key to our success. The Estate grounds are reserved for our registered guests at all times. Not just over holidays. Perhaps a different room category would resolve being underwhelmed by...

We're sure the hotel must be amazing, but we went to the newly opened bar, Counter Reformation. Complete with a confessional and bills presented in hollowed-out hymnals, this place is great fun. Classic rock on the speakers, great wine (that's it, nothing else), and delicious tapas made it a great way to spend the night ... and then the next...

Dear Chuck Y, Thank you for being an early adopter at Counter Reformation! The new "unknown" spot has quickly become a hit and delivers a completely unique wine selection (you won't find these wines anywhere else in the area and very few locations elsewhere in California). Let's not forget the incredible food and the ladies working behind the counter. See...

We spent 2 nights in The Parker at the end of a road trip down HWY 1 from Portland, Oregon, with our baby boy. Arriving at the Parker, we were greeted by friendly staff, and loved the retro, Jonathan Adler feel of the place. The grounds are spread out, with little areas for fire pits, socializing, and sipping fantastic cocktails....

Dear Mike and Megan Y, That is quite a drive! Making such a positive impression after the spectacular experience of HWY 1 certainly speaks to the impression made here at the Estate, The next time you find yourself in Palm Springs, you must experience the revitalizes Palm Springs Yacht Club. Our spa didn't need a nip or tuck but we...

The Parker is truly an oasis in the desert. The grounds are lush and beautiful and fun to explore. We stayed here with our 2 sons and really enjoyed all the activities that were available. The staff were all extremely welcoming - the front desk took time to explain the grounds and activities and everyone we came across bent over...

Just popped in for drinks with a few friends. The cocktails are tasty and the grounds are beautiful! Worth a visit just to look at the beautiful decor, landscaping and to enjoy the gardens. Pick up a drink and wander around.

My lovely friends were married at the Parker. It was fabulous. Beautiful hotel and amazing grounds. We hung by the pool upon arriving and then explored the grounds. Didn't have food from the hotel, but everything was attended to very well!

Hotel grounds are beautiful. Norma's is way, way, way overpriced but the staff was nice and attentive. My husband and I grabbed a drink at the bar one night. Again WAY overpriced. A scotch for $30??? Valet staff was awesome!! We would get our car in record time!! Our room was nice and big but far from the lobby. You...

This hotel is amazing! The property is spread out and when there you feel more like you are visiting someone's home property rather than a typical, stuffy hotel. The decorations in the rooms are amazing (mostly Jonathan Adler) and you really feel at home. Lots of fun activities on site and wonderful staff. On-site restaurants were very pricey, but the...
