To be welcomed by Charles is already a must! Santiago is my home away from home. The place is beautiful, rooms are large and very well decorated with everything you need. A very large vert well heated pool, a jacuzzi, sun beds. Complimentary breakfast is great. La cantina allow you to have drinks and snacks all day long. complimentary Lunch for everyone who wants. Guests are always nice and interesting, you can meet new friends easily, even when you are like me (frenchy not so confident with his english...) Santiago looks like paradise with angels (staff)... Don't ask me if I recommend or if I love Santiago, the best place to stay at Palm Springs.
10's across the board. What a lovely place to spend a week. Fantastic location, generous sized well decorated rooms. Beautiful pool with comfortable seating. Lovely little complimentary cafe for breakfast, lunch and soft drinks. Massive age range, from 20's to 50's but everyone got along nicely. I would literally spend a day by the pool just chatting to fantastic people, normally id get through a book in 4 days on holiday, but here I was having such amazing time with such lovely people I only got 1/2 way through my book. Final point, the staff, its like they aren't even there but still get everything done and are always looking after you. Without a doubt, this is my new Palm Springs home!
I had an amazing time at The Santiago! Gorgeous modern room with great amenities! The pool and hot tub were heaven! They had a lovely breakfast everyday and an excellent lunch by the pool as well! Most importantly the staff was top notch! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I will definitely be staying at The Santiago again!
This weekend was sooo great, everything was very clean, the staff was very accommodating and will be going back. Spent a weekend at Santiago and had a wonderful time at this fantastic boutique resort with phenomenal service, facilities and amenities. From our welcome to checkout, the entire experience is impeccable.
We have been coming to Palm Springs for 15 years, and once we discovered Santiago (12 years ago) we have never stayed anywhere else. Charles and his team run a tight ship. The whole team is super friendly and accommodating. The guests here really are treated as number 1. The beautifully landscaped grounds are always spotless! The rooms are clean and retro modern. The pool, hot tub, fire pit and outdoor shower are great amenities 24 hours a day! Wifi is always on point. Absolutely nothing negative about this property! Love it here!
Just returned from an absolute AWESOME week relaxing at the Santiago Resort. Charles the manager was so friendly and accommodating. He made a point to mingle with the guests and get to know each person by name. Any request was immediately taken care of. The handsome housekeeping stafff kept our room clean, tidy and fully of clean towels and robes all week. The grounds are immaculate (and I am a critical traveler). There were plenty of padded sun loungers and umbrellas by the pool. The pool was heated to 92 degrees and the hot tub was 102 degrees. Open 24/7 with late night quiet hours. If you are looking for a cruising or hookup resort, this is not that. Lots of couples, all ages. I managed to make a few good connections during my stay :).
Having stayed in many gay resorts in California and Florida over the last 20 years, Santiago is definitely one of the best in the U.S. If you are looking to stay here (and you should) it will surpass your expectations. Everything is clean, efficient and very relaxing. The Santiago Team is very effective and welcoming under the leadership of Charles, the always smiling GM. He also checks in with every guest poolside numerous times a day to ensure there is nothing more they can do to make your stay more comfortable. The rooms are fantastic, well maintained and modern. Breakfast and Lunch are included which is a bonus not to have to leave during the day. There is also 24 hr access to snacks, soft drinks, water, coffee. This was our 2nd visit and the group of men was very eclectic. People from all walks of life mainly from the U.S. but also other countries. who varied in age from their 30s - 70s. Everyone was welcoming and friendly in a very non pushy atmosphere. You can be as naked as you would like to be the moment you enter. (or not). Sun loungers are plentiful and very comfortable plus umbrellas that you will need in the desert. There are also two man hammocks which are a great place to spend time with your own thoughts or with someone else. When the sun goes down, there is a large hot tub and fireplace to cozy up to. Also a fantastic 2 or more man outdoor shower….. Honestly, you will want for nothing. Charles and his team have created a true vacation atmosphere which allows total decompression which is priceless!! Try it - you will not be disappointed.…
Perfect getaway spot to explore oh so fab Palm Springs. You will be happy just lounging by the pools after the included healthful breakfast and boxed lunches, or grabbing a complimentary bike to cycle around. Rooms are nice, kinda like a West Elm vibe, and the pool and landscaping are fantastic. Staff friendly and super conscientious. The hot tub can be the center of attention and can generate some noise (just guys chatting) early in the morning and into the late night so be aware of that if you get a room close by. Also ground level rooms get some noise from the rooms above but nothing too bad.
We came for my husbands 40th and never wanted to leave! The Santiago is everything and more. It’s giving relaxation to the max. The resort is impeccably well maintained, our suite was perfection, and everyone there couldn’t be any nicer. Truly can’t wait to return!
I stayed at the Santiago five years ago and had a good experience. We booked this resort again, for a stay last weekend. Unfortunately, I had a death in my family and had to cancel the stay. The Santiago was kind and respectful. There was no issue canceling the hotel, just three days in advance. In addition, they offered a refund of my deposit! I did not even have to ask....they said they would be refunding it. Class Act all the way. I greatly appreciate it. And, I will definitely be staying here next time I can get away. Thank you so much!
