Two Couples rented two rooms for one night. Large clean rooms with a kitchen. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good location near city center. I suspect this is one of the best value lodging choices in Palm Springs.
At check in my room was not quite ready they had shampooed the carpet and they were still a little damp. They upgraded me to a larger room with a separate bedroom and kitchen, which was awesome the hotel is clean and modern. Been coming here for almost 15 years, love it!
Pros: Friendly staff, good location, awesome pools, and courtyard area. Loved the thoughtfulness on Valentines Day with the complimentary sparkling wine, chocolate, and a rose. Cons: Inconsistent heat and pressure in the showers. The cleaning and yard keeping staff start early in the morning, so good luck sleeping past 8am. Our biggest complaint is lack of 24 hour staffing. our second night, a violent domestic fight occurred in the room in between mine and my friends room. After midnight there is no front desk staff so we were left to call the police and handle the situation on our own. It was horrible to be involved in. Another night the power was off for hours. When our group arrived back at the hotel after being out, it was pitch dark outside and inside our rooms for several hours, and we had no temperature control so we were freezing. I know both these situations are out of the hotel’s control, but the bigger issue is there is no on call or after hours number to reach someone at the hotel and let them know what is going on at their business to their patrons. Seems like a huge liability, and safety issue. …
I had to cancel a future reservation at this hotel. I called and spoke to a gentleman yesterday, no problem he said he canceled my reservation and would send me an email. He did not, not only that, when I called back today a very polite young lady said it was not canceled, but she would take care of it. She also they do not send cancelation emails, but she would refund my deposit. Honest mistake or someone taking advantage?
Staff accommodating when had to cancel because of snow. Beds comfortable, but very sparse room. Nice big open shower, but no place to put toiletries. Paper thin walls and could hear everything next room. No staff available at night to complain to!
No hot water in shower as I was preparing to leave for the airport. No answer at front desk at 6:30am. No response to my additional telephone messages at 2pm to front desk or manager. Then contacted Expedia to request refund. Hotel front desk clerk acknowledged to Expedia that they are having a plumbing problem, but refused any refund or compensation.
We booked a luxury to queen room, it was nice comfortable clean. The shower had good water pressure, the beds were extremely comfortable, and despite the AC locked on a low of 72° it was enjoyable. The placating is ideal as it’s only a couple blocks from the start of the main downtown corridor. Our trip went downhill rather quickly, on day 2. There is only one pool and one large Jacuzzi, the pool is the size of a single family home residential pool and considering it’s 100+ out the Jacuzzi was not appealing. The hotel has 50 rooms so in itself the pool size is insufficient. We were at the pool with approximately 12 other people went two couples joined early afternoon and began to blast music on their JBL, drinking heavily and overtook the pool along with their giant inflatable flamingo tube. One family got up and left shortly after another couple along with a single woman. By 5pm we had enough. Once back from dinner, the drunken obnoxious sh%t show at the pool continued. Day 3, you can’t make this up…the same 2 couples, along with a new family of 5 were competing at the pool for who could have the loudest music on their JBL speakers, most were wearing street clothes in the pool and actively eating. I reached out to the front desk but despite saying they would address the noise level the gal never said a word and you could here the music at the lobby doors! There were also no room cleaning services provided to us during our stay, understood if that is the new protocol but the front desk gentleman failed to mention that upon check-in. There was nothing quiet or peaceful about the courtyard. This boutique hotel has so much potential but management definitely needs to put in place some rules and regulations so that all guests enjoy themselves. At $200/might + we expected the quality of our stay be much better. I can’t recommend staying at this hotel, if you are looking for a room in the price range I suggest Triada, if you can increase your budget try Ingleside…classy, quiet, respectful guests in our experience.…
In a good location. Close to casino and downtown restaurants. Hotel was clean and grounds kept up. Two issues I had was one, the toilet kept running and two, there is NO counter space in the bathroom. For the price I would stay there again. Front desk was great and helpful.
Stayed twice and each time it was excellent the grounds and setting are very warm and enclosed for privacy the room was spacious and had a small kitchen the staff was very friendly check and was a breeze and check out equally a breeze. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable it also wasn’t easy walk to the downtown area I definitely will return
This was my second stay in this motel-style place (it’s 2 story - so prepare for stairs - and outside doors all face a courtyard). Super clean, friendly staff, and excellent balconies, pool, and hot tubs. The only downside is that the hotel is on a busy road, but there is a narrow sidewalk to the nearest intersection and the walk into the heart of Palm Springs is pleasant (e.g., it’s an easy 10-minute stroll to the Thursday night market, famous artwork, etc.). Our family has had two great stays here and will continue to make it our go-to for Palm Springs!
