On the long, hot drive to Phoenix from SF,we decided that we needed to take a break. From Tripadvisor's sterling recommendations, I called and booked for the same day. (I'd like to keep this place to ourselves, but Bill and the rest of the staff deserve your business). Set against the mountains, the location is stunning. What a happy surprise...

After many many visits to our favorite place to stay while in Palm Springs, I thought that it was time to post a review. The numerous visits speak louder than do words as to our fondness for this wonderful place. Jinny and Kevin, the owners have been gracious hosts over the years and their staff has always been most accommodating...

I'm fortunate that I travel a lot for my work and usually stay at top hotels... but this hotel is very impressive and punches way above it's weight. On paper it misses things like a lobby or a restaurant for lunch or dinner. However, the sums is worth much more than the parts: very friendly service (we were received by...

Wonderful hotel. The staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. The mid century chic is perfectly executed and the room we stayed in - Atomic Paradise was a 1950's classic with modern comforts. With hot and cold drinks on tap 24 hours and the fabulous Orbitini Hour it was a little oasis in the desert.

Jinny and Kevin are friendly, gracious hosts and have created a wonderful mid-century experience. The rooms (just 9 in all) are authentic 50s style with authentic furnishings. This is the place for you if you want a retro experience. Clean and comfortable all around . Salt water pool and coctail hour at 5 p.m. featuring their signature Orbiting as well...

Sunshine, nostalgia and amazing service highlight this amazing hotel. Of no fault of their own, but worthy of mention was the Saturday night party next door, with full PA system, DJ. The police were even called to shut it down. Rumour is a city councilman owns the party property. Double shame if so. Other than fair warning for the party,...

From the moment you enter the property you are greeted in typical 1950's elegant style by the extremely friendly staff and owners. A definite step back in time to a more laid back life style that so befits the aura of Palm Springs. The furniture and accessories are authentic mid century, and the rooms are exquisitely adorned. All amenities you...

We hoped for something else than a usual hotel when we booked our short stay in Palm Springs. But what we experienced was something unexpected. A terrific ambience combined with the warm and generous hospitality from Bill and his crew made us feel at home from the first moment. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Palm Springs!

It had been six years since we last visited Palm Springs and we’d never stayed at the Orbit In before but from the moment we walked through the door (and being greeted by Lindsay is a pretty good start), we knew we’d chosen the right place. It’s a relatively small B&B with only 9 suites lovingly kept in the original...

Great getaway themed boutique hotel! Friendly Staff, awesome period detail. Only 9 rooms so very nice manageable amount of guests. Secluded, but awesome view of the mountains. Cool Orbitinis a drink served poolside at 5:00pm. Very enjoyable we will be back!
