Our reunion group took over the entire place even though we just used 13 of the 15 rooms available. It was designed and built in 1960, but was remodeled in 2015, though retaining the original style. Every AM there is a delicious house made breakfast that can include such things as gluten-free scones, mini-muffins, as well as fresh fruit, homemade...

We spent three nights while attending the Indian Wells tennis tournament. The hotel has been completely redone to its original mid-century modern glory. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms fresh and clean, and the bathrooms are clean and adequate (but they still have a 60's feel - i.e. smallish with limited counter space). Breakfast is light, but very healthy, fruit,...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this very cool, recently renovated retro hotel. We stayed in a standard queen room that included small dining table for two, TV, refrigerator. Bathroom has wonderful black and white tile and tub with shower curtains. Place is very clean. In front of the room there is a small patio with two chairs...

We found the Monkey Tree by accident, but it was a fortunate accident! The hotel has been completely renovated and it's lovely. The owners are hands-on and welcoming to guests. Our room was spacious and comfortable and housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast is also good. The grounds are meticulous and the pool heated and extremely clean. Would certainly recommend.

When I shuffle off of this mortal coil, my only hope is that there is someone to meet me with a glass of sangria and swimming pool. As my life flashed before my eyes after the most recent election, this indeed, is what happened. My wife and I visited The Monkey Tree Hotel on the occasion of our 20th wedding...

We stayed 4 nights at the Monkey Tree Hotel, and it was truly a wonderful experience. All the rooms have more or less straight access to the pool area, which is lovely. The saltwater pool is heated (nice), but there's also a jacuzzi, a cold plunge and a sauna (amazing). Coffee is served from 7 am (nice) followed by breakfast...

Mid Century Modern hotel, completely renovated, but with retaining the 60's charm. Newly installed European spa, hot, cold and sauna plus a heated pool. Kathy and Gary are wonderful, attentive hosts. Great get-away for couples, off the main drag.

The views are fantastic as are the multiple pools and sauna. You can park your car, walk 40 feet and be in your very comfortable room. No elevators and long corridors to contend with and a unmatched welcome from the owners as you checkin. Breakfast is on the light side but with the best scones we have ever eaten. Sitting...

From the snow capped mountains to the picture-perfect blue skies, this was a perfect place to stay in the heart of Palm Springs! I have nothing but amazing things to say about the Monkey Tree! The room: absolutely fantastic, the staff: very friendly and inviting, the grounds: pristine and clean. The staff was very helpful and knew tons of things...
