I honestly feel this hotel should be rated 5 stars. It was incredible and comfortable and very clean. The grounds were beautiful and the beds comfortable, the staff was so nice and friendly at all times.

We made a quick visit to Palm Springs and this place was perfect for us. A block away from all the downtown action, and the rooms are big and clean and the pool is great! But please know there is a $25 per person Resort Fee per guest.

Dear Costumer25, Thank you for choosing the Palm Mountain Resort and Spa on your recent visit. We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you again. I had a chance to read the review that you recently completed and was delighted to hear about your experience with our hotel. I did want to clarify the resort fee is $22 plus tax per night, not per person. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback, as we appreciate knowing we created a memorable stay. Sincerely, Patty Davis General Manager

Had a first floor patio room right at the pool. Loved this location. Very convenient location. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Small market where you could buy snacks and drinks. Pretty property. Rooms need a little love but overall very good.

We had a great time. The hotel is conveniently located. My kids loved the pool. We stayed in the room with direct access to the pool. Beautiful scenery. Everyone friendly at the hotel. I also liked the complimentary Starbucks coffee in the morning.

Our room was very clean and had a nice balcony. The facility is close to the Art Museum, Marilyn, and all the downtown activity. No breakfast is provided but there is free tea and coffee in the lobby, as well in the room. While we were there free grapefruit were in a bowl in the lobby, picked fresh from onsite trees. There are several restaurants within one block.

Dear Stanart2023, I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay, including the fresh grapefruit. Our trees are almost picked clean, so we will have to wait until next year for more. We are definitely in a great location to walk to everything, including excellent restaurants and, of course, our Marilyn statute. Thursdays are especially great for the Village Fest and free access to the museum. You must return to enjoy what you may have missed this time. Thank you, Patty Davis General Manager

Second time to PSP and again seems like an old motel redone with new bedding. Our room was $300 for a non weekend night (would have been $400 if we wanted to add a Saturday) that had no window to open so no fresh air. The old blastocyst fry AC unit, new-ish bed linens but bed not super comfy. It was very basic green carpet, not updated, no fresh air. Pool was nice, walkable to everything on the strip but no hotel bar.

Dear Kandice, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding your recent stay. We are delighted you enjoyed the location and our pool area. I'm disappointed that other areas of your stay did not meet your expectations. Most of our rooms do have patio/balcony doors that open. We have begun working with a designer for a guestroom renovation that will start late this year into next year. I hope you will consider returning in the future. Sincerely, Patty Davis General Manager

This is a solid 3.5 stars. This is a like hotel, not a resort. I think a resort has just about all the necessities on the property. This place has no food, no bar, no fitness room, no activities, just a small store. I don’t even think the spa is really a spa, at least not one like I have ever experienced. However, if location matters to you, this is a great location, centrally located to the main drag of Palm Springs. The room is a hotel room with worn and dated furniture and television. But everything was clean and functional. The shower gel smells bad and cleans worse, bring your own. No soap here, just dispensers. Only the bad smelling hand soap at the basin to wash your face. Bring a bar of soap too. The pool area is large and very nice with a couple of fire pits. The pool is Olympic size and the hot tub is hot. The grounds are nicely landscaped with many mature palm trees and is well maintained. WiFi was OK. I tried to see the spa but it was dark and I was told you have to make an appointment. The prices are high. I called to make a same day appointment and was connected to an agency that books treatments for various hotel spas. This is not a spa, I think it’s a spa facility where they book therapists or beauticians to meet you. That way they don’t have to pay employees and they collect rent when the spa is booked, that’s my theory. I never saw anybody in there. The room price is also quite high for what you get. Staff is friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle is very good. They rent bikes, or they charge a $19 resort fee, we were not charged and I don’t know how that works. Other than the shuttle and the bikes there is really nothing here to justify a resort fee. No parking fee is charged.

Dear Robert R, Thank you very much for choosing our hotel, and for taking the time to submit your review. We are very grateful for your feedback, as each review gives us the opportunity to improve our guest experience. With that being said you mentioned a couple of issues that were concerning to me. We had our internet upgraded in August of 2022 and I would expect it to be better than OK. We will definitely investigate this to ensure it's working as it should. The Spa is a leased operation and there is staff on-site for appointments only. They do operate several spas, but we receive positive feedback from guests about the services they have received. I'm sorry that your stay with us didn't meet your expectations. If there were any other aspects of your stay with us that we could approve, please do not hesitate to reach me pdavis@palmmountainresort.com. Again, I appreciate your time and feedback. Sincerely, Patty Davis General Manager

I reserved a deluxe pool view with private balcony and was put in a ground floor room with the noisy pool filter outside the “patio” door. Couldn’t even see the pool. Dark room, not a resort. Very disappointed

Very disappointing stay. On entry to complex from lobby, there was construction going on the whole side of one building next to the pool. Rooms are very old, tiny bathrooms. We were woken at 1am in the morning by a security guard sat on a chair on our balcony having a conversation on speaker phone. He quickly ran away once we knocked on the window. Overall, disappointing on every level. The photos are very misleading. We stat regularly in Palm Springs, but we wont be returning to Palm Mountain. Should be a 2-3 star hotel, and proceed accordingly.

Dear hr792023, Thank you once again for your feedback as we have received it through the survey you completed, Expedia, and now through TripAdvisor. As I mentioned there was no actual construction happening during your stay. We informed the security company about what you encountered and they assured us this would not happen again. We will be starting a guest room renovation later this year which we are very excited about. I understand you were disappointed with your stay and I responded to your survey to let you know how we would make that right. I'm happy to know that you are willing to give us another opportunity in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back. Best Regards, Patty Davis General Manager
