My wife and I stayed at the Colony Palms for our Anniversary. Friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, excellent location made this trip memorable. But the thin walls also made it a less than perfect stay. We could hear the neighbor hacking and coughing almost the entire night.

This is à dream stay hotel. Great room, fantastic restaurant, nice pool, good prices. On our four weeks honeymoon in The States, this was one of the best hotels. And we like luxe, so it's not an easy call. Go there!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this lovely hotel in July 2010. We rented one of the Casitas with an outdoor 2 person tub. It was perfect! The room was large, with beautiful decor, a mini fridge and a large walk-in shower. The pool area was a bit of a scene, but with the outdoor tub on our private patio,...

Reading the reviews here on Tripadvisor I was confident this was going to be a great weekend stay. Overall it was but the front desk staff is truly horrible and, as another in my party said, "they make you feel like you should feel lucky to stay at their fine hotel." I was there with a wedding party that had...

This was our second time staying at The Colony Palms and we love it there! We stayed from April 24-27 and got plenty of R & R at this property. The grounds are just lovely and the pool are is perfectly relaxing. It's just hip enough with the lounge music playing in the background, but not pretentious at all. Comfy...

This past trip marks my fourth stay at the Colony Palms over the last couple years and each time we have to make the inevitable sojourn back to the airport, a little bit of me dies inside. Who has these kinds of hyperbolic feelings about a hotel property? No one. But you have these feelings about what feels like your...

I have never posted a review of a hotel before, but I felt I was misled by the abundant and favorable reviews of the Colony Palms Hotel. Here are some impressions not mentioned in the reviews I read which I hope might be helpful to new visitors and to the hotel itself. Rooms: The Deluxe Guest Room (for the price...

This place is definitely geared for the romantics and romantic at heart, but it's great if you're doing a convention, too. Easy walking distance to the convention center (10 mins) and downtown (2 mins). Lovely, well-cared for grounds, attentive and friendly staff, and I had a great room with an awesome shower (that and the comfy bed was my favorite...

This is a wonderful boutique hotel for couples and families with babies or toddlers. It is very quiet and the grounds are beautiful. Just beware that if you are traveling with teenagers or younger kids you may have to explain why there is an "Intimacy Package" available and a picture or two of bare chested men, a woman in bed...
