Beds are comfortable, furnishings fine. Internet was a bit spotty despite my room being close to the office. I stayed here due to price. but have found nicer places at good rates on other visits.

Great location and very good value for the price. I have been to Palm Springs many times and never stated at the same place twice. I shall stay at the Royal Sun Inn again. Rooms are good and so is breakfast however toe room is quite small. Some painting is needed and there are scuff marks on the elevator which need...

On checking in I found the only person in my 3 week holiday in Mexico & the States that was not pleasant. I was also charged $65 + Tax per room which though still cheap seems different to most others. Check rate when booking as my friend who lives in PS said that it should have been only about $40...

This was our first time visiting Palm Springs, which at Christmastime was cool and refreshing. The downtown has great restaurants for all times of day, and everyone was very open and friendly (did it help having a babe in arms?). The Royal Sun was a great value: for its $50/night including taxes it offered a reasonable room with fridge and...

Stayed 2 nights here. For just under $50 dollar p/ night I have no complaints. We were given a queen bed room on the 3rd floor. It had an awesome view of a mountain. Yes, the room is a bit dated, but the bed was very comfortable. Carpets and furniture were clean. It had a fridge and very powerful microwave....

When I first stumbled on The Royal Sun Inn online I thought there was something wrong: a rate of ~$40/night at a place that had fairly decent reviews. Looking to save money and not being able to find anywhere else that could beat that price, I took up the offer for a two-night stay. Though the oh-so-dated 1950’s design of...

Where to begin... It looked so nice on line. We were treating our daughter and 3 grandchildren to a nice w.e. in Palm Springs. When we booked, I requested adjoining rooms but they ended up on a different floor and had the same experiences I mention here. The rooms were stale smelling, small, the carpet well past it's time. I...

I like the hotel photos on their web site. Unfortunately hotel photos on the official hotel web site and real hotel are completely different things. The pictures show you beautiful hotel in the middle of the desert. The photos promise you spacious and luxurious rooms. What you get is motel style room with lousy breakfast in a tiny breakfast room....

This is a great place if you're looking for a budget stay with friends. 3 friends and I booked three nights for a conference for $44/night + tax/fees. We basically showered and slept there and were out most of the day. There was A/C, a fridge, tv. Everything worked. It includes a continental breakfast bar so that was nice and...
