Excellent location right on a curve in the river and about a mile or so from the Dam. It was fun watching the boats turn around and take off at full speed throwing rooster tails as they raced down the straight away from the curve....More

The man made rock formations are known as 'Intaglios'. At the Colorado River Indian Tribes Museum in Parker, AZ they tell me that you can find them in a few different locations. I think you are talking specifically about the ones our guests have discovered out at Copper Basin Dunes. I wish I could give you directions, but I do not have them.
