When I told a co-worker I was staying in Paso, I was expressly warned against staying at the Best Western, so as I pulled up places to stay on TripAdvisor, I saw the good reviews on this place, and that it was much cheaper than surrounding hotels. Needless to say, I am super impressed. The room smelled amazing when I...

Although these rooms don't look like much from the outside, they are large, clean and comfortable with a nice retro vibe. We had the room closest to the road - about fifteen feet away - and road noise was a bit of an issue. The windows are old and don't insulate noise very well. It may be that some of...

We stayed one night during the May Wine Festival and loved this retro-motel. Actually it's not retro, for it's been in Paso Robles for a long time. Very comfortable and clean. Plus quiet! The location is downtown, so access to wineries and restaurants is excellent.

Super clean and the proprietor is super helpful. I got a smokin' good deal there on a room. All my dealings with her were over the phone and she was very good at calling back. I was setting a room up for some friends on the road. They were super pleased with their room and said it was a great...

It was clean. It's a typical motor lodge. There's not any fluff just good lo utilitarian place that wasn't expensive. The rates do go way up during events and/or holidays. The bathroom could use a little TLC. It's a bit dated.

Superb, particularly for 60 bucks. This is a 1950s (at a guess) motel that's been tastefully modernised to keep plenty of character. Of note, go easy on the room thermostats - 65F is ample for gas heaters. Highly recommended!

This place is not fancy, and it's not fully modern. It's an old motor court motel, and that shows. However, it was charming, clean, good staff and service, nice room, good wifi and TV/cable, great bed, good shower, fridge/microwave, and very reasonably priced for Paso Robles. It's all one floor, so there is no one on top of you. The...

I think it's important to remember that you get what you pay for & expectations must be reasonable. This isn't a fancy place with expensive mattresses and spa tubs. This is a comfortable guest room in your friends house. Everything is intended for functional comfort. I really like the layout of this property and our room was perfect. Dog friendly,...

Clean, cozy room with old-fashioned decor in central Paso robles, 1 block from very good breakfast place, 11 blocks from town square. Prices on par with Motel 6 for the basic Queen room but much more charm. Room smallish as shown. Mid century bathroom clean and in good working order. They apparently have some kitchenette rooms somewhere, too. The guy...

My husband & I stayed there Sept 10& 11 for weekend of wine tasting with friends. The room was spacious and BR was small and shower even smaller. But who needs a big shower? The bath towels were long & fluffy & there were plenty of hand towels& wash cloths. There were few hangers and I didn't think of asking...
