Very good value. Clean, attractive, comfortable. Friendly staff. Includes expected amenities, micro, coffee brewer, frig. Bring your own soap, however. They only have body wash dispensers, and it comes out just a drop at a time. (like 50 pumps to take a shower!) We will always stay here when visiting Paso. Tip -Ask for rooms farther from 24th, they're quietest.

The price for a nice, new hotel room in Paso Robles can be quite expensive and/or require a two night minimum. The Siri located 1/2 block off of Spring Street on 24th Street (the main road that leads to the Westside wineries) is quiet, offers parking, is within a 10 minute walk to the town square and economically priced. Rooms are large and well appointed with nice linens and comfortable beds. Mini fridge and coffee making station included in each room. The second story rooms are accessible by stairs or an elevator, good for hauling up cases of wine from the car. They advertise that it is located “downtown” but it is a 10-12 block walk from there, which is not far but not at your doorstep. We would definitely stay there again. At $140/night with tax it is a true bargain.

We were looking for a basic hotel, arriving later than expected and leaving by 9am. We saw some reviews that were worrisome but can report that our room, room 205, was fine and really very nice. It exceeded our expectations based on what we read. The room was renovated recently. The bathroom had a heavy door, nice sink, large shower and the soaps provided were Beekman 1802 which are a nice quality from a small town in upstate NY that we have enjoyed in the past. Being from upstate NY, this stood out to us while here in CA. The room was plenty big and had a comfy bed, and a small balcony that allowed us to open the door. When we checked in, the hotel staff made a point of talking about keeping the balcony door closed, and now we realized that it was like a European door where it locks with the handle upward and that’s different here and probably results in doors left unlocked. The hotel staff member was a bit curt when checking in. We needed dinner so he sent us to Rustic Fire because it was late, around 8:30. Most places close at 9pm in CA unlike on the east coast. We had a great pizza and drinks and the staff there were very nice. Based on our room we were surprised more people were not there but we don’t know what the other rooms look like. I’m sure they would prefer one to pay in cash. They asked about this and this puts one on edge like what’s going on here.

We were excited to be trying a new hotel in Paso Robles (where we come several times a year). The location is good. The room is Ikea-esk. Unfortunately the hotel had several issue:

1. Initially given a room that had not been cleaned. Take our stuff back to the car, go to the office for a new room, and then take our stuff up to the new room.

2. Balcony door locking instructions were not shown on the door so we could not figure out how to lock the door. The front desk told us how to do it. While we were gone they came into our room and locked the balcony door (I know they were being helpful, but I don't want anyone entering my room unless I am aware of it beforehand).

3. Deadbolt to the room door did not work. They offered to change rooms that night, but we were settled in, about to go to dinner, and they had gotten the deadbolt to engage after removing the strike plate (not the best situation, but a temporary fix until we could change rooms the next day.

4. In the process of changing rooms the door key to the new room did not work requiring another trip down to the front desk.

5. After all of these issues no discount for the inconvenience was offered.

6. The TV in the new room only let you change channels if you were within a couple of feet of the TV. Did not bother to report this as we were done with this hotel.

7. The soap, body wash, and shampoo dispensers all put out very small droplets of product making you have to pump numerous times to get enough product to be usable.

My wife and i rented a room for 3 nights and as we were driving up from San Diego, we thought about the fires and called The Hatch to make reservations and she warned us the air quality was hazardous so we turned around. The following day and through the weekend, Paso had the worst air quality in the world at 453 it was hazardous, stay inside, no athletic activities. It was dangerous. We spoke with Norm and we canceled the weekend.

My buddy, who was also staying at the hotel, called me to say he got a refund. So, we call Norm and he puts us down for a room and says he has to speak with his boss and he would call me back Monday. He sounded so certain we'd be able to stay, he booked the nights for us. Fast forward to today, we drive 5.5 hours from San Diego, and Norm says, oh yea, i forgot to tell you, my boss said no. No call, no room, and I'm out over 500 bucks. I come up here every weekend and hit every restaurant and we take our boat to the lake so I'll make sure to tell everyone that this place has no ethics and no business sense. thanks for nothing, Norm and Hotel Siri

The Hotel Siri is a small hotel/motel in near downtown Paso Robles. The grounds and rooms were very clean. The bottom floor is a motel and the second floor is a hotel. We stayed in a second floor king suite. Our room had a balcony and although the room was a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarette smoke. The air conditioner vent was on the balcony and I was told that if someone smokes in the area it will unfortunately blow into the rooms. The location is very close to the vineyards and the downtown area but there is no pool.

Norman, the on-site supervisor, scammed us of our money. Worst place I have ever stayed. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. It’s a non-smoking “hotel.” We checked in after 10pm and grabbed our room keys from the lockbox and were screwed for the night because front desk was not available. No one picked up the phone. We could barely breath in that room, and Norman couldn’t have the decency to refund or even discount the first night. He moved us to a smaller room with a smaller bed the following day, and credited us $50 for that only. Both beds felt like cardboard. He knew it was our anniversary weekend, and our first time in Paso Robles, but managed to leave a bad taste. He was hostile and unaccomodating.

This is a very nice budget option for a Paso Robles weekend getaway stay. Location is convenient, within the downtown area near food, shopping, and wine tasting rooms. Motel style accommodations. This property has been recently refurbished and is bright, clean, and inviting with a nice subdued wine theme that’s not over the top. Staff were pleasant and professional. The room was clean and everything was in good condition. Fridge and microwave are very helpful and there’s even a keurig for coffee. Only thing missing was a wine opener and some actual glasses, so make sure to bring those along with you!

This hotel has a great location; however, customer service is some of the worst I have experienced. They said we had to request if we wanted our rooms cleaned and so I said yes we did....and they didn't. The front desk person acted very put-out at any request. The roof top patio is bare bones, not even a trash can up there. The vending machines were limited but at least there is great food nearby. Then there was the extra $20.00 charge per room above the price sent in the confirmation and I received no response to my concern. When I called, the manager was extremely rude and refused to issue any refund.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel for one night on the second-floor room with a balcony.
We paid around $117 per night and were pleasantly surprised to find a spacious, clean, newly renovated room with a shower cap, hair dryer, nice size fridge and a Keurig coffeemaker.
Well done!!!
