Stayed here in November for two nights and really enjoyed. Renoveted a few years ago from the original Motel built by Roy Rogers et al. Made very welcome by owners . Not suitable for people who want TV and Ironing boards in their room but for people who want a rustic couple of days with a famous Bar Pappa and...

For me this was exactly what I had signed up for. The views of the night time sky, the walking distance to Pappy & Harriets, the remoteness from the world, the hikes, the education of the area and the authentic feeling it provided. I recommend this as a couples retreat, a work shop for a company, for weddings, for friends...

The Pioneertown Motel is definitely a one off! The room was tastefully and simply furnished. We were able to watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets from right outside our room. This was the perfect setting to complement a visit to Joshua Tree National Park. The wifi is fantastic however if you need cable tv there is none. As a tv fan...

Was just passing thru on a road trip but so glad to have found the Pioneertown motel. It was very quaint and perfectly located - an easy walk to Pappy & Harriets for an evening of fun. I would definitely stay here again!

We wanted to go to Pappy & Harriets for the evening and the Pioneertown motel seemed the only place to stay. Were we glad we did!, this place is amazing ,right out in the middle of the desert ,the peace and quiet was a refreshing change from other motels. We met the tame Road Runner and at dawn stood out side to...

We came out to visit friends and enjoy the night. We arrived by 8 got our key and got settled. Was nice to not have a tv- we packed a blow dryer as we anticipated that less is more and that we were there to truly enjoy the environment. Room was clean in design and the bathroom had nice touches...

Having been to Pappy & Harriet's and Pioneertown before on a Joshua Tree excursion, we were curious to stay at the Pioneertown Motel. We decided to give it a try on our way out to Arizona to visit family. We give it a resoundingly positive review with 4 stars -- we reserve 5 stars for resorts. With respect to the...

Felt just like we were staying in an old Hollywood Western! We loved the authentic touches at Pioneertown Motel and were impressed with how comfortable the beds were. It was a little on the pricey side but in saying that we have definitely paid more for less. The coffee available in the office was so good and the WiFi was...

So you go to the Pioneertown Motel because it's the only game in town and clearly they know. The management makes zero effort. The room itself was fair nothing special but serviceable. Not very clean and in need of some upgrades. There is no TV -ok, we're in the desert. But there is also no phone, no cell service in...

Authentic and off the beaten track-next door to Pappy and Harriets food/music venue legend of a place. Stayed twice at Pioneer Town and loved it both times. Great for star gazing on the wooden porch at night with a beer.
