I met some friends in Pismo for my birthday. Pismo Beach has so much to offer. The beach, restaurants, shopping, pet friendly, and they have a great cigar lounge. We ate at dinner of our favorite restaurants and tried a couple new ones as well. This was a chill and relaxing trip. Nothing too adventurous. This is a great place for anybody to visit.
Just finished three days with 20 other family members, it was a great weekend. There isn't another place in Pismo we could have done this, we had an enclosed patio with a BBQ, tables, chairs and umbrellas. The little kids had plenty of play room in the patio area, and there was no way they could wander off. We are hoping to make this a yearly event, a fantastic place.
This hotel is in the perfect location to walk everywhere you'd want to if spending a day at Pismo, and at a great price. This being said, I had an excellent experience there last weekend and the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommend.
This historic hotel has charm, but only if you can sleep through anything. Noisiest hotel ever. Nightclub next door and every sound, word, and squeak can be heard all over the floor. Staff was excellent. Location is close the boardwalk.
AWESOME>. Gem of of a hotel. Angie the host was so nice to offer to make fresh coffee since we were checking in late in the day. Very clean . The bed was nice and firm . The towels were thick and soft. GREAT HOTEL FOR PRICE>. Have paid more for less at other hotels.
Last minute trip to Pismo Beach. We chose this hotel because of its location. Room was small but clean. Nothing fancy, just basic. But the location is awesome. Just steps to the pier and in the main part of Pismo. Great courtyard area. We took a bottle of wine sat in the courtyard had drinks listen to music in the background. Others were also outside taking advantage of the courtyard and it’s tables. Coffee is available in the lobby all day and in the morning they have a continental breakfast which is fruit and pastries and muffins. It was very good. Elevator was very old but works fine. I will return because of the location as well as the welcoming garden courtyard area!
Very clean place, but the rooms are too small. The cold breakfast was ok. The hotel is very close to the beach and the parking lot makes it convinient to walk around the shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly.
Quirky and cool, location is great, just a about a block to the beach. Staff was awesome. The hotel is right out of 40's movie, the elevator was an original I bet, required a bit of an explanation but cool. Plenty of parking too, which is a HUGE plus. Great restaurants and bars nearby too
My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Pismo Beach Hotel. We had a spacious suite that was clean and seemed to be recently painted. Staff was helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for cruising the tourist shops and restaurants and walking the pier, and it is only a mile's walk to the Butterfly Grove. Continental breakfast was mostly carbs (bagels, english muffins, danish, granola, instant oatmeal packets), but they also had fruit, juice and yogurt. Coffee was available all day, which was great. We would definitely stay here again.
Driving from Palo Alto on the road near the Ocean til Pismo Beach in November, where the sky was blue (the Tragic fires up North, did not give Air polutions here). The hotel was easy to find with car, and the view to the Pacific from the room was relaxing and wonderful. The room itself was quite good and clean The pool was Nice, and it was good for walking on the long beach, where the pelicans was to be found in a bird cliff. Temperatur 20 C, and the tennis court was OK and for free. All personal friendly and serviceminded. The breakfast was OK, but Notting more. Some ratter simple but good restaurants in the neighbourhood. A Nice hotel to stay three nights on Holiday!
