My wife and I booked a two-night stay at the Shenandoah Inn based on positive reviews on several sites. There was an ongoing special that made the room even more reasonable in price (about $155/night), and with the proximity to the many wineries on Shenandoah Road, Steiner Road and Shenandoah School Road, this seemed an ideal home base for an... Needs a little help but it would do for a good night sleep. The reservation was pretty tough on check as one hand did not seem to know what the other was doing. The rooms was clean, need a little work, but over all nice. More than like I would try another location on my next trip for the cost.

Conveniently located at the gateway to the Amador County's wine region, the Shenandoah Inn offers reasonably priced accomodations. Rooms are spacious and provide a delightful view of the rolling hills of this scenic area. Ken is a convivial host and owner/operator for the past few years. A continental breakfast in the lobby of the Inn is the perfect way to... More

We needed a place to stay and got more than we bargained for in a truly super way. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. The breakfast, varied and more than adequate. The sunrise and view spectatular. The location was minutes from town and close to route 49 and more importantly all the wineries one would want. Even Buddy... More

I travel for work quite a lot and usually stay at Best Western's, but as there was no Best Western close by, I stayed at Shenandoah on a friends recommendation. Very clean hotel with great service. Breakfast was great and even included Nutella for my toast....they totally won me over! Winery recommendations from Ken were useful. But overall great value... More

We stayed at the Inn during a birthday party with a large group. The place is clean, has a hot tub and near many local wineries. We got a early check in and breakfast, although very sparse was provided. I would stay here again if I return to Plymouth.

The husband and I took our large dog for a one-night stay here. Max (the dog) isn't the best traveller sometimes, being on the anxious and protective side, but this place made it a joy to have him along. Ken helped me with my questions and reservation over the phone; definitely give him a call before booking online as he... More

Room was spacious and had a microwave and great small refrigerator. Sat in the Jacuzzi for well over an hour and our friend even dove into the pool, which was chilly as expected on a December evening. Great complimentary breakfast served too.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Shenandoah Inn. We brought another couple with us to share the incredible wineries, restaurant "Taste" (make reservations, everything on the menu is great) and deli "Amador Vintage Deli" (the Turkey Cobb sandwich is a must). Both of our rooms were upstairs. As previous people have mentioned, the rooms are clean, have nice views and are... More
