Guiding ships for many years, this lighthouse provided a secure beacon through the cold nights and sheets of fog. Great place to whale watch. a 2 mile walk from the road but a drive-in is eased by plenty of parking. Easy trip for young families.
It is one of the few beautiful coastal lighthouses still in existence, but it has become 'commercialized' with rental housing, gift shop, and what passes as a museum of sorts.
