Alarmed at the prices for lodging in nearby Graeagle-Blairsden area, I found this B&B online. This is a very inexpensive, charming place with friendly and helpful management. My room was tiny, but still adequate. Comfortable, clean, and well-maintained with lots of nice little touches.

Quiet, clean, welcoming home and yard. Continental breakfast was nice variety. Popcorn maker was a surprise. The Main Street location has few walkable businesses, lots of empty stores. Stairway to second floor is a challenge to climb with heavy bag. I am not young and strong, tho.

Pullman House Inn is a 'you get what you pay for' type stay. If you like quirky B&Bs with character and great people, then this place is for you...if you want a corporate chain motel, then you will probably hate it. Pros: people (owner and staff are wonderful to speak with), character (amazing old building with train themed flourishes), price...

Located in a hidden gem of a locality. The hotel and it's owner make you feel at home. Great continental breakfast included. Restaurants in the town are within easy walking distance, as are pleasant trails and the river.

I loved the Inn! I would absolutely stay here again. Jan is the nicest person you'll meet. She absolutely went out of her way to make me feel at home. The Inn is super clean and well kept. There is wifi and tons of tv channels also. I was impressed with how soft the sheets were. I can't wait to...

The Pullman House Inn is comfortable with balconies overlooking the train tracks, sitting rooms and a sweet breakfast room. Our bed was very comfortable and the room had all we needed. There are a number of good restaurants nearby. You can walk to a local park. We didn't notice any bothersome train noise. The guests we met at breakfast were...

This was the perfect place to stay on my way from the Sierras up to Mt Shasta. I was the only one at the Inn for the night and had a nice time chatting with the owner about our various upcoming travels. She was also helpful in directing me to someone who could give me more information about the surrounding...

I had been in Portola for work before and really wasn't sure where to stay. I decided to give the Pullman House Inn a try. It's a wonderful B&B. Jan, the owner, is very nice and accommodating. It's a very cozy, homey atmosphere and the bed and shower are awesome. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the...

These days on a long road trip when I am primarily camping, I like to break it up with a stay in a nice place every few days. I was very pleased that I chose to stay here. As others have noted, the rooms are small and not what I would call luxurious, but certainly amply supplied, complete with creaky...

We came here to explore the area and do some hiking and kayaking. It is close to the Lakes Basin area, Davis lake and Frenchman lake. We stayed three nights and want to plan a time to come back with the bikes. I talked with the owner on the phone who gave me information and also ideas on other places...
