We had read reviews and we're not sure what to expect and we're pleasantly surprised. Yes it is an hour to San Diego and most attractions and probably not ideal for families with younger children. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. ramona is 15 mins away and has a good supermarket and other facilities. There...

The San Diego country estates is quite and relaxing place to go for a quick get away from Los Angeles. It's far but still close to all the tourist attractions San Diego has to offer. Only a 40 minute beautiful scenic drive from downtown. Close to Barona casino.

My family has been coming here for vacation since the 1970s, so my kids are the 4th generation who have enjoyed this place. There is no better value in San Diego county, the rooms are so spacious that my family of 5 could easily stay there for weeks (and we have). Beautiful grounds, nice pool (though nothing special) and hot...

Please do not think this is a hate mail report. We booked a week for a stay from Australia, expecting that San Diego Estate was in San Diego, it is not. It was over an hour to San Diego. We expected to be doing an exchange resort booking through RCI. The reason we expected to be in San Diego was...

We were a family of 4 (4- and 6-year old girls) and recently stayed in a first-floor 2-bedroom/2-bath unit at SDCE, which was huge and gave us plenty of space to spread out. There were three TV's (one in each bedroom, plus one in the main living area), one with a DVD player (living room). The units were really well...

These 2 story condos are set on a hill with beautiful park like setting surrounding them. Lots of hiking trails. If you love playing tennis, you will love this place. It is out in the middle of nowhere..so very peaceful and quite. Lots of things to do: swimming, games, crafts. Only minus was you could hear the people upstairs. They...

This is a timeshare resort which is self catering with a full kitchen. The one bedroom apartment we had was very well equipped with everything you could want and more. The quality of the furnishings was excellent. Its located in a quiet valley well away from any main roads and has lovely gardens plus walks up the dry river creek...

My wife and I stayed at the San Diego Country Estates from Oct 7th to Oct 13th and were very happy with our one bedroom unit (#5533). The first floor unit was very well equipped with everything we needed including a wood burning fireplace. A couple of minor issues were the toiltet handle needed adjusting (no one from maintenance ever...

My husband and I, and another couple rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. #5523 The staff at the reception desk was very nice and knowledgeable (specially Lisa) and the resort itself is lovely, very nice landscaping and well maintained.
