I have stayed at this property multiple times. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. I stayed for two nights 2/19-2/20. Good experience. Today, 2/21, I have tried calling the hotel directly since 6 am (it is now 5:20 pm) and the line is continuously busy. I left two jackets behind and am unable to reach any live person at the hotel. The reservation staff were unable to help me. A dead end. I had hoped my outer jackets were turned in. How am I to know ? I saw staff constantly picking up phone calls so I know the number listed on their website works. I GET A BUSY SIGNAL FOR ALMOST 24 HOURS. A TRUE DISAPPOINTMENT I AM UNABLE TO MAKE CONTACT! Admin - I expect a response from this review.

Hotel's Favourite
With its central location, the Hilton Garden Inn Rancho Mirage made a superb choice as our headquarters for exploring Joshua Tree with our son during Spring Break. The hotel is modern, clean and convenient to everything in Rancho Mirage and the adjacent city of Palm Desert. It was within walking distance to The River, which has a plethora of restaurants to choose from. The Hilton Garden Inn is also near the Living Desert Zoo & Gardens. They take Covid-19 seriously. The staff all wore masks. Our room had a paper seal on the door and was absolutely spotless. Moreover, it “felt bigger” and seemed to have more space than the average hotel room. Our room was also internally and externally quiet. We did not hear any road noise even though we faced Hwy 111. The Neutrogena soap and shampoo were a nice touch. While we did not use it, the pool looked large and inviting. Unfortunately, because of Covid-19, the Hilton Garden Inn was unable to serve their buffet breakfast. They sold a so-so bagged breakfast for $5. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn and hope to return soon.

It's unbelievable that Hilton allows their name on this old, worn, dark and nasty property! I would carefully vet the reviews that give 5 stars although it probably could have been in the sixties. A review just before this one mentions 'dump', wish we would have read it!

Amazing people make the hotel my go to stay for my family. They are warm, friendly, and when given the chance to do their jobs deliver above and beyond expectations. The Staff have great respect for one another and also enjoy working together from what I have seen. I stayed over a week with my kids and they made it feel like an extension of home. The breakfast staff is amazing and deserves gratitude when dining as they keep things flowing and are always cheerful and willing to engage in conversation not just dole out standardized greetings. The front desk...1 out of 5 stars in performance and attitude. I teach my family to treat the desk like you're staying at your parents house or grandparents house. The rooms make a hotel but the staff makes stay Thank you guys again for everything!!

This hotel is a dump. Our room was dark, dirty, smelled like urine and hot. the thermostat only goes as low as 68 but it never even cooled down to that (in Late December). Breakfast was unacceptable, the chef was off the day we were there and the only option was stale bread, cereal and pineapple chunks from a can. No joke. That was it! The worst part of this property is the complete lack of customer service. One of the front desk managers, Maricris, was the worst. She has no interest in pleasing the guests. Stay away from this HGI, there are plenty of much nicer hotels in the area.

This location is like a cheap Motel. I'm a Gold Member, at the time of writing this review. - They turn off hot water in evening - No garbage pick up or room cleaned on day 2 of your stay. Even after requesting its not done. - was told that room service after 5 days of stay - digital key did not work for me - door handle to enter was broken. You cannot enetrr hotel from side doors. - door from pool gets jammed and does not open. Need repairs. You will have to go around the hotel to get inside the hotel.

Got me in a room asap when no other place would. Cool AC comfortable bed, close to everything! Highly recommend! Staff were helpful and polite. Can’t beat it and at a reasonable price. Everywhere else in this area is really expensive

Stay away from the property, especially if you see Susana Reyes who’s the “manager” at this property. I’m a Diamond member and never had this experience before in all my stays with Hilton all over the world. We forgot our govt ID at home in a rush, we showed her the pay stub that shows govt employee, but she wouldn’t even care to look. She was not apologetic at all and gave us an option to cancel the reservation. I’m so glad I went with her option to cancel rather than giving this property even a $1 of my money. Went to another property and I was so happy there. Other Hilton properties in the area are good, just avoid this property. She is very sarcastic and needs to be sent back to “management” school and retrained. Absolutely no point in wasting your time with this property and especially with Susana. If you still stay there and check in, make sure you ask for another employee.

We stayed in 4 hotels on this trip and each one offered really professional and friendly staff members, including this one. We arrived before check in time but they found a room for us, which was very helpful. The hotel is spacious and modern looking. Our room was a good size and was clean. The area feels very safe and we walked around the hotel and adjacent area after dark without issues. This is a good location, close to many things in the Palm Springs area.

I’ve been exclusive to IGH and Hyatt for a good part of the last decade and needed to add another hotel chain to expand lodging coverage for my post pandemic domestic and international travel. I decided to give Hilton a shot and booked Hilton Garden Inn Palm Springs - Rancho Mirage for a night. My room was dated, both shower and sink were clog, mini fridge was making vibrating sound throughout the night, and worst of all I believe someone at the hotel signed me up for another honors account without my permission. As a Hilton Honors Gold guest, I wasn’t treated with any of the advertised perks. This establishment lacks integrity and the staff here is without regards to customer experience. I had enough of Hilton, on to Bonvoy…
