The Bridge House B&B is one of the smartest we've stayed in. Just such a shame that it's in Redding, a town with little to recommend it other than as a stop off on the way to Lassen volcanic park. There are actually two houses comprising the B&B next door to one another, the one we stayed in having two... More

We stayed here for two nights while doing some fly fishing in Redding, CA on the Sacramento River. Had a very comfortable room in the Inn, which is across the street from the river (couldn't really see it). It is close to town but very quiet. Enjoyed our visit to Redding and these accommodations were, we think, the best in... More

This was our final stop on a 2 week vacation that included all bed & breakfasts, and this would probably not be one of my favorites. After reading its description, I was expecting a more scenic view of the river, but it's definitely not very pretty. In fact, it's not in a very nice neighborhood, and we were nervous walking... Located conveniently in downtown Redding, the Bridgehouse B&B was a wonderful starting point for what was a great weekend for me and my wife. Our hostess, Janelle Pierson, with her husband, Kendall, runs the two beautiful storybook cottages. The cottages have easy access to all the main roads and the many local attractions. The four rooms of the Bridgehouse cottage... More

I went to Redding with my mom to visit a local church and spent one night at Bridge House B&B. Loved the owner, the amenities and the whole environment. Great, organic breakfast! We stayed at the Dog Creek Room and it was perfect for us. Will definitely come back!

We travel to Redding every 6 months or so to visit our mom who is in a board & care facility. We are so grateful to have discovered Bridge House. The rooms are actually less expensive than your standard hotels in Redding, and it is right on the mighty Sacramento River on the west side of Redding, which is the... More

My boyfriend and I were in Redding for one-night only last wkend as part of a road trip. I wish we could have stayed at the Bridge House longer. Janelle was amazing - from the phone call to book the reservation to walking us through a late check-in to accommodating a couple of quirky requests we had (due to leaving... More

We recently traveled to CA (San Francisco, Napa and Redding) for my birthday. Our visit to Redding to fish was great and a lot of that had to do with the Bridge House and Janelle. Janelle went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. She even made me an apple pie and bought me balloons for my birthday. We... More

We did a VERY spur-of-the-moment road trip which involved a long two day drive ending in Redding for a conference. We were very happy with our choice of staying at the Bridge House. We were upgraded for our two night stay to the Diestelhorst Room. We were definitely out more than we were in, but really enjoyed having the comfortable... More

Thank you. I do try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I do have 2 king rooms with heat/air in the room in our new house next door. As far as the tub goes, I did check it and had no problem filling it with hot water. It does take a lot of water so timing is everything... More

We stayed at the Bridge House for four nights during our trip to our son and now daughter-in-laws wedding in November 2013. This was our second stay at this lovely B&B. Janelle, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. We originally booked one room for only one night, but ended up needing to change that to four nights. Then we needed to... More
