The best value cabins I could find this close to the avenue of the giants. Cute wooden cabin, with a little porch. It was extremely cold and wet outside and the heaters quickly warmed the place up. Great little kitchenette with all the necessary accessories. Lots of hot water and a surprisingly powerful shower. Whole cabin is nicely designed and...

The staff there are great. Went up to visit a friend. Resort has a great little store, the drawback is you have to spend more than $10 or there's a fee for debit. Very clean. Microwave & mini fridge were clean & worked. Felt safe, which is another reason I would go back.

Taking more time on our drive through this beautiful area, we decided to stay here for the night and continue on the next day. At check in, we were greeted by a couple of people behind the desk. They seemed to really be having a good time with their job. They were joking and laughing with each other, and us,...

From the exterior photos and bad reviews we would never have booked a room here, but there were literally no other rooms available at other hotels on the Avenue of the Giants. After digging deeper I realized Dean Creek has cabins in addition to regular rooms. We booked a little one-room cabin and I am happy (and a little surprised)...

The managers and staff were helpful and provided a nice environment to relax within a casual weekend retreat. A bonus little package store in the premises, and a kitchenette in our room within wooded area combined with a lovely swimming pool, sauna and hot tub made it complete. They are pet friendly, a casual place and have tent, camper and motor home...

Bathrooms were filthy, looked like they have never been cleaned. Trash every where. Toilets not flushed. Stool on the seats. Showers were cold. Run down place, nice people but would not recommend it. Not worth the price they charge.

Disappointing stay. The campsites were not picked up, bathrooms were not clean or kept up. Very noisy and other guests were noisy until late in the night. Road noise was high. We left early due to the poor condition of the campground.

We are a family of 5 from Belgium and were looking for a place to stay the night in our roadtrip from LA to Seattle. When we noticed this nice little motel we didn't hesitate and stopped immediately. The setting is perfect. Not crowdy, very quiet , super surroundings (redwood trees, the river....). The staff is very helpfull & friendly....
