The Garden Motel has been owned by the same family for years, and they really care about their motel and their customers. In addition to being a great value, The Garden Motel also has a great location. It's located about six blocks from the Redwood City Caltrain station, providing fast and easy access to downtown San Francisco and SanJose. The... More

This the scariest motel I have ever stayed in. I got into town late and it was the only place with a room left. If I could have gotten a room somewhere else, I would have left as soon as I saw the room. The rooms were dirty and had mold on the ceiling in the shower. I didn't get... More

I stayed in this place for a day since I reached early for my flight. I got a room at the 3rd floor which has a connecting door to the next room for families to stay and the noise was clearly leaking from the other room. Rooms were smelling (I don't know of what) and WiFi which I had to... More

After being told the cost, I was asked if I wanted a smoking room or non. Even though I don't smoke indoors (and a bit surprised at having the option) I said smoking. The front desk man became very upset, saying there weren't any rooms available and insisting I was going to smoke in the room (I guess they only... More

The Garden Motel is extremely affordable providing standard accommodations, clean room complete with free WiFi and Satellite TV service. It is centrally located, only a 5 minute walk from downtown Redwood City. I found the management team to be very accommodating and polite.

We stayed here for about a month and was very happy with our stay. Great price for a clean and place. The motel management were friendly and polite. Maid come every day and the room were cleaned very well with new towels everyday. Since I had a child, we were provided with amenities like mini-fridge and microwave, which was very... More

I have stayed at the Garden for about 3 years, and it's a quiet 16 room motel a stones throw from downtown , the court house and other municipal buildings. It's rooms are clean quiet and comfortable. If your in town for business or just in for a weekend, you can not go wrong at the Garden Motel.

I stayed here for about a month and was happy. It’s clearly not a four-star motel, but a great price for a clean place to sleep. The small room (they have a few sizes) really is compact, with just enough space to get around. The place is well taken care of. The walls and general structure are old and give... More

“They have two sizes of rooms available. The rooms on the west side tend to be larger and quieter, and some have been completely renovated.”
