It’s fine, in a good location should you care to go out for a walk. My guest room was small, like I’d expect in New York City. Everything was in good working order.
The most memorable aspect is the witty quotes in the elevators.

Daytime walking is quite safe. Be sure to look up, the architectural details of many of the buildings is gorgeous. I walk in the early evening, but anything too far past dark and I'd use Uber or grab a cab.
