Rundown and dirty. We paid $290 for one night. No tv in room. Doors and windows are falling apart. Outside furniture is filthy! Breakfast was ok. Owner was nice. Whole place needs a good scrubbing! Will never return.

The room we had was perfect for our needs. We spent two nights and all was adequate. The walls are indeed paper thin and you can hear folks talking next door and foot steps and roller luggage up above. The staff is friendly and eager to please.

A smartly detailed villa with authenticity in all respects: the grounds, the building's structural design, materials and style. Very comfortable and homelike with a personable and friendly staff. A gem that amplifies its edenic setting.

This was a great place to stay. It was a short drive or Uber to downtown St. Helena. While it it quiet and off the beaten path, my only complaint is that the walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors pretty loudly/clearly. Otherwise, we loved this place and would stay again!

We stayed here over the Presidents Day weekend. The gardens and location are charming - even in the rain. Our room was ok - not luxurious be any means but the bed was comfortable. Our biggest complaint was that the walls were paper thin and we could hear EVERYTHING going on in the rooms above and next to us. Perhaps...

On the east side of the Silverado Trail, this Spanish-Style building houses a B&B that serves the purpose of a bed and breakfast. The room and bed are serviceable. So is the bathroom. Nothing fancy. The good news is the Spanish Villa Inn is half the price of the hotels on Main Street, St. Helena (although it is not cheap)....

As this was a last minute decision, the proprietress reserved us a sweet private corner room that was comfortably heated/warmed in advance. Breakfast is included...loved the fresh brewed Peet's coffee along with self service of granola, bagel/muffin with convenient toaster, hard boiled eggs....

No hot breakfast only granola, bagels and yogurt. Smoke detector was removed from our room. Furniture had food stains. No view whatsoever despite being advertised. Sticky insect trap on kitchen counter. Spider webs over coffee urn. Staff is frazzled and owners would walk by without saying hello or welcome.

Nice on the outside, fancy entryway and sitting area, but not in the room! Bed mattress completely shot! Torn screen on sliding door, very little lighting and most of all-very noisy! No amenities whatsoever! No TV in room! There were holes in the bath towels (no kidding) The breakfast was far below what I was expecting (just bagels, coffee, an...

This was a perfect place for meeting our Alaskan friends for a tour of wine country at a reasonable cost. Beautiful piano in living room open to guests. Clean rooms. Wonderful caring host, healthy fresh breakfast. Outside grounds need a little upkeep, but otherwise we are so glad we fell into this place.
