We stayed in the "zebra tent.".So much more than a tent. It was spacious, with private bath and shower. It was well off of the ground, with laminate flooring. The animal encounters, especially with the elephants, will last a lifetime. Where else can you feed and help bathe an elephant? We purchased the extra packages for feeding, putting the animals...

We like what they are doing here and hope they succeed. Pros: views and sounds of the animals from the tent. Elephant delivered breakfast Comfortable tent Friendly Staff Cons: Not much elephant for your dollar. All contact with the animals is highly regimented and impersonal We don't want to write a bad review because we liked everyone and what they...

We very much appreciate the kind comments from this person and only wish to offer an explanation for our elephant protocol. One that they probably could not be aware of. First and foremost, 30+ years of caring for and training elephants has taught me the importance of keeping an elephant's mind moving at a steady/positive pace. It is important to...

My husband and I stayed overnight in one of their "African safari" tents. The tent had a king-size bed, a connected bathroom, and a small deck overlooking the elephant enclosure. We paid a bit extra to "put the elephants to bed." We went into their stable and fed them bread rolls. When I realized that I was down to my...

Huge tent #6 with double sinks and shower, toward the back of the property. Nice for privacy. In better weather, the hottub would be nice but we had rainy and windy weather for our overnight stay. Actually, very exciting with the gusty winds blowing at our tent, making us feel like we were on the tundra. The bed has a...

We did a 10 day trip in California recently but needed a quick overnight stay. As an animal lover, I was intrigued by this place but was also worried maybe the animals weren't cared for that well. I was pleasantly surprised how much this blew away my expectations. I really felt like for a night I was in Africa (even...

We stayed here for one night with my 6 year old daughter. Everything was immaculate, from cabins to customer service to tours. My only complaint would be about the counter girl on Sunday. We were waiting to get our free 1 pm tour passes, and with only 8 min left she was just standing there chatting with another counter girl...

My husband and I enjoyed 2 wonderful nights in bungalow 5 and thoroughly enjoyed it! Our room had every amenity and still had the feel of being on an adventure. We loved the star gazing and animal noises at night, meeting and feeding the bengal tigers (what gorgeous creatures) and our favorites, the elephants. The included tour was extremely well...

What a great experience! I wish we could've stayed more than one night. The cottage was large and comfortable. We took the advice of others and put the heater on and turned on the mattress warmer before we went out to dinner. In the night we heard the lion, ostrich and owls calling back and forth to each other. The...

I brought my two grandchildren; ages 10 and 8 to experience the closest thing to an African Safari available in their own country. You will not be disappointed at all visiting and staying over at the B&B. The front desk personnel upon arrival are smiling and super helpful and will print out instructions to local restaurants and the check in...
