Quaint Bed and Breakfast we found. Entrance rather hidden, doesn't look like much from the outside, but clean, good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. They were very good with local information. Teresa was a delight to talk with. Economical compared to other places. Better to stay here in San Anselmo ,and drive the 15 min to Salsalito ,which is very touristry.

I've stayed at this inn multiple times and love the unique, quaint atmosphere. Each room is slightly different- I'd recommend the second floor to be away from the restaurant noise next door. My only complaint is that the heat didn't work terribly well in January. The staff is, however, very friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat; right in...

Great location in a quaint town near to many attractions and things to see and do. The property needs updating and some TLC. Our shower stopped up every time we used it and was not looked into during our three night stay...even after bringing it to the attention of staff twice. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of fresh made...

Our family visited from NY during a storm and we lost electricity so we went to stay at the San Anselmo Inn for a couple of nights. The place reminds me of a European Pension back in the days. . . We had nice sized room with windows that overlooked the main street which is pretty quiet at night. There...

Really enjoyed my stay at The San Anselmo Inn, which is in downtown San Anselmo, a quiet, lovely, walkable little town not too far from San Francisco. There are several different types of rooms. I had a cozy room for 1 or 2 people with a comfortable queen bed. It had everything a traveler needs, including a toilet and shower,...

Great place in San Anselmo to stay, quiet, clean well staffed, I stayed for my Drake reunion. Feels more like a bed and breakfast than hotel. Love the lavender/glycerin soap they provide! The proximity to the downtown attractions means not having to use ones car very much.

Room was simple but comfortable - innkeepers so friendly. Breakfast (included) hearty and delicious. Planning a return trip just to stay here! Being an older inn, lack of an elevator might be a challenge for some but was fine for us!

I really like the Inn's location, in charming downtown San Anselmo, next to a pleasant café. The physical property, the furnishings and the people working there all seem tired. Nothing bad happened, but the room was cramped with ill-fitting furniture, the bathroom was also very cramped and several of the listed breakfast items were gone after the first half-hour or...

The Inn/bed & breakfast is quiet, clean and very nice. It's a great place to stay for a night or two. The rooms are adequate, but you might want more space for a longer stay. Very quiet with comfortable beds, a bathroom that's nicely designed where everything works, and the breakfasts are quite good. However: 1. Don't let Google Maps...

Very friendly and accommodating staff. They serve a Good breakfast. Kind of run down room and furnishings and furniture. Probably better for more of a casual traveler not a regular business and leisure traveler like myself. I'm not inclined to stay here again but that's just me.
