Nasty, filthy and disgusting. Don't forget smelly because that is the first thing you notice. Barely any lighting in the main room. Like being in a cave. Please do yourself a favor and don't go here. They make you pay in advance which once you see the room you know why.

We had to stay near Redwood City on the weekend. Unfortunately, all the hotels there are overpriced and in shady areas. We found a cute lively area in San Carlos. This hotel is walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. It also has a pool. The owner was friendly, but the breakfast is marginal.

STAY AWAY! This is the nastiest, dingiest, dirtiest motel I've ever stayed at. And I'm ok with an occasional stay at a basic motel at a reasonable price, but I expect a basic level of cleanliness and privacy. Given this motel is right next to fairly nice San Carlos downtown, it's surprising it survives there, given how bad it is....

This was my first stay at this hotel and I liked it very much. It is centrally located on the El Camino Real about half way between San Francisco and San Jose. It is close to everything you might need with excellent restaurants to fast food all close by. The room had a refrigerator and microwave and small table and...

The owner is a wonderful individual and the accomodations are very comfortable. The location is extremely convenient to downtown San Carlos and close proximity to Menlo Park and Burlingame. Very well run operation.

One of the best values in hotels in the city. A small hotel [15 rooms] with very spacious and clean rooms. Service top of the line. Very safe with a gate and 24hr guard. They welcome your arrival with a no-charge a drink. Be sure to ask if you can get a drink of your choice in case you don't...

Found this place last minute online. It was very basic, no frills, clean, quiet, the cheapest we found due to a conference in the SF area, and it was about 11 miles to the SF airport (our destination the following morning). The TV had plenty of channels, and the staff was friendly. Check in/out was quick.

This very small hotel was among the cheapest in the SFO airport area and had some good points: 1. Free WiFi that worked 2. Good shower 3. No bad smell in room 4. Reasonable location in that it is not noisy and close to shops and restaurants. However: 1. The staff (who appeared to be family owners) were very unfriendly,...

Unfortunately the system doesn't allow me to rate is as 0 point, otherwise I will definitely make it 0 out of the 5. It's the worst hotel I have seen in the United States. I am very surprised that it's marked as 2 star and got good customer rating. It's way too off from my expectation. The room has terrible...
