We weren't able to get into our normal hotel chain for the one quick stop we had in San Jose and found this one. The decor and furnishings are dated and worn BUT the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are spacious and the shower area was roomy as well. For the price and the convenience, I would say that...

Like a mini-grand hotel! I love it! Brick and marble and gables. Spacious room, huge jacuzi bath, minifridge and microwave, big windows. Walking distance to SAP. Lots of food choices within a mile. What more can one ask for for such a great price! I will definitely be coming back!

The arena hotel is a decent hotel for the price in San Jose. It's not really that close to downtown San Jose (without needing to drive) but is very close to the SAP center/ Shark tank...so depends on the purpose of your visit whether the location will suit. Room was a very good size and the bathroom has a jacuzzi...

We were in town for the Adele concert, just for a night, and the Arena hotel was the PERFECT location. Staff on check-in were kind and personable and immediately made us feel welcomed. Parking was easy and convenient. Our room was massive, and the bed was spacious and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was a welcome addition after a very long...

There isn't a huge amount I can say about the Arena Hotel. It is 5 minutes walk from the station which is ideal if you are catching Amtrak or Caltrain services North or south. Our room was ok, spacious and clean but with a constant kind of generator hum, it felt like you had a constant headache. I called reception...

My wife and I stayed at the Arena Hotel so we could attend our grandson's graduation from Stanford U. We took the free bus from San Jose airport to Santa Clara Transit Center and then switched onto bus 22 for the 24 minute ride to the hotel. Check in was simple and easy and our ground floor room was spacious,...

Our experience of one night at Arena hotel was a good one. The location is quiet and I thought quite pretty. Nothing fancy, unless you like 70s styling. Large rooms with more necessities than available in other Californian hotels we stayed. Free parking, close to stadium. Friendly staff. Nothing special breakfast available. Rooms are quiet and clean. Nothing more you...

Friendly staff, friendly breakfast people (but please turn off the CNN and FOX news politics and put on ESPN and sports), spacious rooms, 2-block walk to Amtrak/Cal Train, 1 mile from restaurant choices....a bargain in 2016 in San Jose.
