Really good experience at Villa Motel for us. It was quiet and confortable. The bed is good and there is a lot of space in the room. The room was clean. Nothing to add, these word are juste to get in the 200 characters rule ! ;)
Was looking for reasonable place to spend quick night and this fit bill. It is an older small property (15 units with 15 parking spaces plus one ADA). Two story with no elevator. Check-in was easy, Debra seemed welcoming and open to answering questions. Though it faces Monterey St was quiet. Pleasant walk toThursday Night downtown Farmer’s Market. Television is smaller unit but had a wide variety of channels. Refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker in room. WiFi worked well as did A/C. Yes, the room is stated and probably would be wise to replace carpet for laminate and fix structural wall cracks but for the amount of time spent in room and price compared to other places was willing to overlook to have a clean bed (sheets were actually crisp and apparently clean as was rest of bedding). Gave it average rating, though no complaints because all travelers have different tastes and opinions.…
After an excellent welcome we discover a very large room well equipped and a very large bathroom. The room is irreproachable, charming, quiet and very very clean. The best motel of our road trip in the west. Thank you again
Downgraded to their other property! Las Padres. What a dump! Not even any cups in the room! No coffee maker. At least it was clean but that’s about all I can say about it. And beds were ok. Came in late and parking “lot” was terrible, had to squeeze our car into one last place available.
The Villa Motel, newly painted (festive yellow and light blue) is a real bargain in pricey San Luis Obispo. It’s location is great, at the edge of the long Main Street of motels. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the shower excellent. That’s all my wife and I were hoping in a motel, and the Villa delivered!
I found this hotel to be very clean, quiet and affordable. It had a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to stream Netflix on their provided Wi-Fi connection. I will definitely be staying here more often as I work in the area.
Was in San Luis Obispo when Cal Poly was headed back to classes so most of the hotels were booked by parents. Found a room at Villa Motel and it was clean and comfortable. Good value. Would definitely stay there again!
I would definitely recommend the Villa Motel to anyone looking to stay in SLO and I would definitely return. Close to downtown, nice spacious room with vaulted ceilings, very friendly front desk staff. It is an older property and could use some maintenance, here and there. But the price is affordable and the management was quick to address any concerns.
It doesn't seem like much from the outside, but it's very bit as lovely as you've read. Front desk/office staff service was excellent and put me at ease. Yes, it's a bit old/tired as can be expected at this price point, but the rooms are clean and comfy, nicer than I expected. I'm especially pleased since I made last-minute reservations on a weekend and it wasn't outrageously expensive like everything else in the area. It was a nice touch to see toiletries in the bathroom to use as well. I would definitely recommend the Villa Motel to anyone looking to stay in SLO and not break the bank, and I would definitely stay here again. Covid concerns: Be considerate and wear a mask in the office as staff wears one to protect you. Everything I touched at check-in was sanitized (key, clipboard, pen) which was greatly appreciated.…
Nice big room with comfortable sitting area and bed. Noise from the road in front was blocked out with closed windows. Liked the quiet mini fridge and microwave. Clean and friendly service. Gino's pizza across the street was tasty. Comfortable walking into town center about 1 mile.
