We booked this hotel as it was a little different to the standard run of the mill hotels, looked lovely on the website. Room was nice with a Jacuzzi bath and comfy bed....only problem with the bathroom was the state of the shower curtain - mould! The window in the bathroom was dirty too. When you pay £175 per night,...

I caught the Amtrak from LA to San Francisco and decided to break my journey for a night at this hotel/b and b. It is a lovely old period home that has been remodelled into its current format and is a ten or so minute walk down hill from the Amtrak station. I also saw a shuttle bus parked at...

This was a great property for what you should expect it to be. We were with dogs in the "Lovers Room" and it was very nice. Breakfast was great and the quaint atmosphere was perfect for what we were going after. Do not expect frills or anything like that, but it was a very nice getaway. Definitely a historic house....

A cute little hotel in the center of SLO, great position if you spend here the night for the thursday street market just a few steps away. The room was a bit disappointing, very dark and small, and unfortunately our fireplace was broken and I was a bit surprised that our room was not changed, also because we were on...

We came to Pismo Beach for a wedding and decided to stay 15 minutes away in this charming boutique hotel. The old renovated building is nice looking and very charming inside. The common area with large library, table for breakfast and arm hears to relax. Although the price is not cheap, it is reasonable to what you get. Breakfast was...

This is an impressive building from the outside but when you walk through the front door it is even more impressive. High ceilings, excellent decor and furnishings. We stayed in a room upstairs overlooking Garden Street and the room was exceptional.Bedroom with separate sitting room and en suite shower room. This B & B is really centrally located and you...

This is a great place to stay—within walking distance of everything downtown. Friendly and helpful staff. I have gluten issues, and the chef always prepares something that I can have, and it's always delicious. We stay there every year.

We spent 4 nights here and had a lovely time. We walked everywhere in town and only used the car to check out nearby coastal sites. San Luis is a gem. Great shops, nice people, dog friendly and good food. Relaxing, but definitely things to do, like hiking, going to the beach, biking, and eating. Don't miss Doc Burnsteins ice...

Our nephew's wedding was held at the nearby Biddle Ranch School House ~ outside of SLO. Since we were coming from different parts of the country, we wanted to stay somewhere that would provide us with the opportunity to be together as much as possible. The Garden Street Inn was the perfect choice! As a party of 12, we found...

Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Garden Street Inn. The Inn had absolutely everything we were looking for -- perfect location, comfortable room, friendly staff, reasonable price and a delicious breakfast. We stayed in the "Our Town" room, which is decorated with pictures of SLO. It is located on the front side of the Inn. The room was...
