We travel to San Luis Obispo a couple of times a year to visit family. We usually stay at the Peach Tree Inn, but they were booked. This hotel is extremely basic. The bathroom and towels are clean. The bed is a bit worn out, we jokingly refer to sunken beds as taco shells, this room had a taco shell....

Stayed for one night. The bathroom door didn't fit so you couldn't close it all the way and the bathroom window overlooked the parking lot next door so you could do show and tell with the people looking down on you from the parking lot next door. In the middle of the night the toilet overflowed in the unit upstairs...

When we got there we were upgraded to the Accessible room which had large bathroom and more room to move around. It was nice. We were on the main floor which was a bit loud in the morning from the cars starting and people walking to the breakfast room. The room was clean; sheets, linens and towels. The bathroom floor...

Room size was okay. Bathroom was very tight. Microwave, coffee maker and fridge were nice. Hotel is in a very convenient location with easy access to freeway. The hotel was fairly quiet for a Friday and Saturday night stay.

What a nice surprise to discover this little motel to be a cut above the surrounding chain motels. It's family owned and operated. The pride of ownership is evident from the sincere friendly greeting at check-in, to the high standards of cleanliness in the rooms, and the well-organized breakfast room. Some of the vestiges of the former, old motel remain,...

Decent room, small but good complimentary breakfast, good value for the money. Basic two story motel on the main hotel/motel row in San Luis Obispo. Property has wife and good tv selection. Staff attentive to your needs.

My husband and I attended Cal Poly many years ago-- so we have stayed in plenty of places in SLO over the years when we visit, attend functions, or are just passing through. Since all our favorite places were full the day we needed to stay in SLO, we hesitantly reserved a room at the Inn. We were most pleased...

I stayed at the Inn during my son's college parent weekend. It was very convenient, clean, and accommodating. They let me have a late checkout, so that I could spend more time with my son. It is close to the college and walking distance from downtown. Good experience.

We stayed at the Inn at San Luis Obispo while visiting our son at Cal Poly. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. It was updated and clean. The free continental breakfast was good and the service was friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Visited this hotel last year and am reviewing again due to poor remodeling vs. high prices. This is an older hotel that was remodeled to keep up with the newer/nicer hotels in the area. They added crown moulding to the rooms, repainted them, brought in new beds and sheets. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are still small and old. The shower floor...
