We are having a house built in Paso Robles so we are in the area frequently. Price is great for the amenities available. We will use this as ‘home base’ for our visits to check on progress of the build and coordinate house details.

Hotel's Favourite
This is a great older motel. It is not the newest place, but it was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy parking. There was a good selection of hot food for breakfast and we were able to find seats (no plain oatmeal without sugar was our only complaint, which is not big). Really no issues. We'd stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect; spacious room with balcony overlooking the ocean, sparkling clean heated swimming pool and great hot spa enhanced by a working fire pit next to it, delicious hot breakfast, wonderful hotel staff, and a cozy seafood restaurant with ocean view downstairs. It was a steal!

The Quality Inn looks old and nondescript on the outside, but it is immaculate on the inside. Clean, basic, not fancy, comfortable beds, great location (across the highway from the beach), and a really good breakfast. I was surprised at how well I slept! Can’t wait to come back here.

Enjoyed my one night say and would return again. Property is conveniently located off of Hwy 1 and is short drive to Cambria, Hearst Castle and Elephant Seal area. It is 2 story, didn’t see elevator and while it is an older property is maintained. I was in back building on 2nd floor and could sit out on balcony and see ocean, relaxing. Room was good sized w refrigerator, microwave and shower/tub combo. WiFi worked well, television didn’t have major networks but had a good variety of other channels. Within walking distance to market or restaurants and there is restaurant on site. Front desk personnel were welcoming and engaged in conversation, which was appreciated. Lobby had cookies and coffee. They also offer breakfast in the morning with a good selection for all tastes, area might be small to some but worked. Didn’t use but think there is pool/hot tub on property. All in all a good experience.

Whenever I stay at any lodge, I always like to do my research wherein I review what prior guests have posted. This hotel got great reviews and rightfully so. I paid just under $150.00 per night which was a steal in this area. I have stayed in more expensive hotels wherein the service and guidance of the staff were a fraction of what they were here. Hearst Castle was about ten (10) minutes north of this hotel, and Big Sur and Santa Ynez were just over an hour away from this hotel. Paso Robles was about half (1/2) an hour away from this hotel. The hot tub and the pool were very warm and I enjoyed them both. There was also a fire area near the hot tub and the pool. The free wifi worked well and the television had tons of channels. The other guests were diverse and friendly. The breakfast was incredible; I ate like a king. There were potatoes, biscuits, waffles, English muffins, bagels, bananas, apples, juices, milks, waters, cereal, and more. The staff put out chocolate chip cookies in the evenings, and I truly enjoyed speaking to the owner and to his son. They really went the extra mile at all times. Whenever I needed extra toiletry and coffee supplies, I was handed them immediately and with smiles. There was plenty of parking and I felt safe here. There was no room service for my two (2)-night stay, but my room was very clean. The lack of air conditioning in my room was my only complaint. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it without any hesitation.
