You'll enjoy the charm and cleanliness. The bed was just what I needed for a great night sleep and breakfast was just enough to get the day started. We'll be back to enjoy the town on our way back down to LA.

We have stayed in this hotel several times. It is ideally located on State Street (the happening street downtown SB), and offers valet parking with a good sized hotel owned parking lot. The hotel is older but nicely remodeled. It is value priced and offers smaller size rooms, that are very clean and attractively furnished. The bathroom is of adequate...

Thank you for your thoughtful review FT2! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us again and we look forward to having you. Our free deluxe continental breakfast is fresh and convenient, but we agree that we are perfectly situated to give our guests easy access to delicious local restaurants. Our front desk staff are a great resource...

We stayed here, a group of 10, for three nights. The rooms were very nice, clean, appointed quite well. Staff was courteous and answered a lot of questions about what to see and do close by. The hotel did not have a lot of amenities and the Breakfast was rather simple, but the location was great. We walked to dinner...

Stayed at the Hotel for two nights to attend a business conference. The hotel has an nice, comfortable "old" Santa Barbara feel and the room I stayed in was decent in size and well maintained. The staff was helpful (particularly the valet for parking) and location is ideal for being strolling along State Street. The only issues, for the price,...

Thank you for feedback George! Our hotel elevator is the original, built in 1926, and it does have it quirks. We are pleased to hear that our staff and valet were helpful and hope you come back and stay with us again soon.

If you are looking to stay in downtown Santa Barbara, walking distance from all the shops and restaurants and bars, look no more :) This is a great historic building, with a lot of charm. No bells and whistles, no gym or pool, etc. The continental breakfast is pretty basic but it's free. HOWEVER, this is a fabulous boutique hotel...

This has to be my favorite hotel. It provides a feeling of royalty from the distant past. The hotel is ideally located in the center of State Street in Santa Barbara. It is the place where I proposed to my wife and we have traveled up the road less traveled ever since. The rooms though not large are comfortable and...

The rooms are about the size of a good closet, The view from my room was the roof of the building next store ( which I think was a bar ) as i had to listen to loud music until 2.00 am in the morning. I was there on business so I wasn't to happy. Last think - difficult to...

Close to lots of bars and restaurants. This was a last minute stop for work. Management was very welcoming and helped with a speedy check-in. Room wasn't very big but very well put together and cozy. Only about a half mile from the beach. I would stay here again because it's so close to everything you need.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel one night. When we signed in it was realized that they had charged my boyfriends card for another person's stay a few weeks prior. The women at the desk said we'd have to wait to talk to managment the following day so we did. The manager, whos name I forgot, did not...

This was a clean, comfortable hotel in the middle of State Street that gave me easy access to the center of town. The hotel uses a valet parking lot behind the hotel which costs $10 a day - not too expensive, but very convenient. There are some very nice restaurants within a block or two from the hotel. The hotel...
