We really enjoyed our stay. It's a small hotel with friendly and welcoming staff and comfortable, clean, quiet rooms. The best aspect was that it was just so convenient to stay here - there is easy parking, the location is great and very close to the beach, the hotel lends out beach gear like umbrellas and towels and bikes are...

We didn't pick it, we booked last minute traveling through and it wasn't first choice, however it turned out a little gem. It does need a refurb but a carefully one, as its old charm needs to be retained. It's a small set of bungalows and we felt we were in our own little place, kitchen, kettle plates etc, old...

This hotel was one of the best we have been to. The room was airy and large, very clean, and with all the amenities possible. The welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise including almost everything needed for two breakfasts as well as snacks. The very warm welcome by Paul at the desk and the continuous helpful assistance shown us...

This was our first stop on a two week California road trip, and what a great start it was. We didn't book that early and had not realised it was the Labour Day week end (think August bank holiday if you are from Britain), so it was a bit of a leap of faith. We should not have worried-HI is...

We chose The Harbor House Inn because we wanted authenticity in a small hotel/inn. The inn is charming with large rooms, ours had a separate sitting area and a small kitchen. The bed was the tallest I've seen, almost needing a step ladder, but it was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, finding a charger for phones and IPad, the...

I stayed in the Harbor House Inn for one night for my first trip to Santa Barbara and wish I had been able to stay longer. Pros: - the room was big, plenty of space for two large suitcases, and there was closet space and a kitchen. - the location is close to the beach, about a block in. It's...

One of the best stays in Santa Barbara (and we've been here many times before). The inn strikes a good balance between a motel and a B&B. It's a motel because you can drive your car up to the door of your room, but the interior is in the style of an inn, the room is spacious and well appointed,...

This hotel is in a good location. It is close to the beach and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. The room had a small kitchenette with a coffee maker. We were given a big basket of complimentary drinks and snacks and home made banana bread. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. There are...

This is a lovely property, a block from the main drag along the beach, harbor and near the pier. We had a duplex unit, very spacious and well-appointed with a full kitchen. All the staff were very friendly, full of helpful ideas and recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities, which included the possibility of riding one of the hotel's many...
