We were a group of 5 friends who spent one night at this hotel. We arrived late so we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Amazing salmon with Parmesan crust. Comfy beds. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay and enjoy the amazing garden or pool. Highly recommend.

We only stayed here one night, but wished it could have been longer. This is a lovely hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. It has some lovely outdoor areas, and we had a little patio with a table and chairs outside our room. However it was raining, so we did not use it. We hope to come... More

I wish we had been able to stay longer because it was lovely here. Great location and the rooms are huge. The pool looked beautiful, restaurant on site. If we came back to Santa Barbara we'd stay here for longer.

Stayed for just one night. I was searching in the area of Santa Barbara and chose this hotel. By the waterfront was hotels and Inns twice the amount and less interesting. Very friendly staff, reasonable price, good room (missed the fridge though) and a very nice poolarea. Will probably stay there the next I need a room in Santa Barbara.

This hotel has rooms that are a bit dated and tired and in need of some renovation/decoration. The reception and dining area are very plush which only adds the disappointing state of the rooms. The access to the outside pool are is very nice but the upper rooms have it better with their own balcony. The hotel staff were very... More

Very easy to find, we were first timers to the area, loved the location, staff was great, rooms was wonderful, slept well, loved the lanai outside the patio doors for each room. Was able to pull up right to the room to load/unload. Needed some tape to secure our boxes for the flight and they gave me the whole roll... More

The hotel is rather dated. The decor is old and tired . However, the hotel staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean . There is a lovely pool and sunbathing area to relax after or before a busy day exploring Santa Barbara . The hotel has its own restaurant if you don't want to venture... More

We stayed here 2 nights towards the end of our 3 week California coast road trip. We stayed at mid range hotels and this was overall our favorite. I am giving it a 5 because for the price you can't beat it. California hotels are outrageously expensive. We were pleasantly surprised to have a balcony with table and chairs off... More

Definitely worth paying barely more money over what I would have spent on a budget hotel, as this was a very good value, with comfortable beds, large rooms, and a nice courtyard setting with a good pool and jacuzzi area. Staff was helpful, and accommodated my 1pm late checkout request. Quiet hotel with attached restaurant on upper State Street. Bathroom... More

Loved it! Thought it was a low budget hotel but the pool, restaurant and total ambiance was great! Room was a little on the dated side but it looks like they have tried to renovate it - overall, great 1950's flair that is clean and worth the price- great value and the BEST pool area!
