The Orange Tree Inn has been my top choice for a cheaper motel on State Street for the past ten+ years. I am actually writing this review from the motel right now, as I can't sleep. This place has turned into a dump, or maybe it is just this room in particular. My room was about 100° and musty when...

We stayed here in one of their double rooms for our two nights in Santa Barbara. Our room looked out on to the pool and was clean and very spacious. The bed was crazy comfy and we had a great night's sleep. Parking onsite was great too, very useful and the staff at the front desk on arrival were very...

First let me give the Front desk staff high marks. Second the bed was very comfy. Now, I could tell they must have updated not to long ago. Good for trying. 1. Wall over bed to dark for room with dark carpet, should be a lighter color. 2. The curtains are very old. At night you can see light shining...

We had low expectations for this motel however were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, bed and balcony. The bathroom was very dated and could do with an upgrade but the rest seemed pretty decent, based on the price paid for santa barbara. Location wise it was further out than we expected - about 45 mins walk to...

For the money charged this was very poor value. Very dated bathroom, poor shower and infested with ants! In need of an update and much lower prices to reflect the standard, not one to go back to. Quite a way from most of the action as well.

This hotel is situated in the in the main street in Santa Barbara. There are a lot of restaurants and bars 10-15 minutes from the hotel (by walk). The beach is about 30 minutes, but you can catch the bus. Right next to the hotel there is a 7eleven, so you can buy some food and drinks there. The swimmingpool...

Stay on the top floor where the best views are and you have the least noise and the most privacy of course I loved the wood ceilings. Very walkable to all of State Street shopping and restaurants. This place is the best value in SB.

Travelling down the west coast with a group of friends, this hotel was great bang for buck - not too expensive and great location! Located on main street of Santa Barbara . Staff made check in easy and gave us great tips on places to go for dinner and drinks. We had a two bedroom suite which had dated furniture...

The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean. Everything was in good working order, the staff was nice, and it was very quiet at night. You can't beat this hotel for the price! Plus it was right next to a 7-11, which was convenient. We definitely would stay here again!

The orange tree inn was amazing to stay at. The accommodation was lovely, big spacious rooms that were nice and cool! The bathrooms were also big and spacious!! There was a heated pool out the back which i think was the highlight of my whole holiday!! A heated pool like, seriously?! The guys at reception were really nice and friendly...
