After reading the reviews, I too felt nervous in staying here ... but we all are different and I like to try things for myself and glad i did ... This lodge is under new ownership, so I can say whatever had been said, did not happen to me... thankfully... I was greeted and received my door keys and my...

The manager asked how many people will be staying there and we told him that there will be six people. Later on in the day, the other half of the group showed up. the amanager followed us to the...

Take my word, this hotel is disgustingly dirty, They tried to fix the lock on the bathroom door and made a hole in the door and instead of going to Home depot and spending 40 on a new door they patched the hole with electrical tape "very classy" The wireless was not working. the carpeting was so dirty that we...

This place is awful! I just returned from a trip across California with my boyfriend where we stayed in several 2 star hotels (Days Inn, etc) so I think we have a reasonable basis for comparison - this place does not come close. We arrived early so, fair enough, our room wasn't ready. We returned to the hotel 3 times...

First we found the wifi was broken Then we found the phone was broken Worst of all, when my guest came home after office hours of 10pm, rather than call me on my cell since their room phones don't work, they called the cops for him knocking on the office door and trying to get in. Never again. Housekeeping is...

Never ever stay here. BED BUGS!! Bad service, construction upstairs all night and the owner would not comp us for anything due to the bugs. It was the worst place I have ever stayed in. I wouldn't recommend this place to my ex husband.

We just had to get out of Tahoe and the snow. I was familiar with this hotel from about 15 years ago and thought we'd try it again. New owners were super nice to us. The rate was super cheap but all we needed to do was sleep for the night after taking in the wharf and Cliff Drive. Walked...
