I enjoyed my stay at this hotel so much. It was a pleasant facility, well-equipped and clean. The carpets are a bit worn but everything else was great. I appreciated the frig and microwave. The owner, Ken Patel, and his staff person, Mukesh, are so...More
Great location to the Boardwalk - short 4-5 minute walk down the street. Rooms are not big, but were plenty clean. Glad we went with the 2 Queen Suite room for our family - the extra room with the sofa bed and TV was great....More

I can't remember if we had a refrigerator in our room, however, they are listed as part of the room amenities on some web sites. I would suggest calling the hotel directly to make sure you have in your room.

I am a police officer and stayed in the area. I didn't feel unsafe but like I said am a police officer and was armed. I would recommend you go and I would stay in the Hampton across the street from where we stayed the address is Hampton Inn 1505 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz, California, 95060, The area is decent and isn't any different than any other community; however, be careful in the area directly around the boardwalk. The boardwalk is safe just don't venture out into the community on foot alone. Daylight hours are great it is night when you should be cautious.
The boardwalk is worth a visit and we had a good time there. The beach on the boardwalk is great and clean as well. Depending on how long you are at the boardwalk will dictate where you will park. All day park in the 15 dollar lot. If only there for a few hours use the street metered parking. 1.50 for 2 hours. We had no difficulties at all.
We stayed at the comfort Inn and if you are only three you should be fine with 2 queen beds in a standard room. I was unhappy with the Comfort Inn. Because of noise and parking. Don't make your self a target and you will be fine. Have safe travels and enjoy yourself. If you are driving invest in a gps. It is the best investment you will make taking a trip and being in areas you are not familiar with trust me. Hope this helped...

"We were on the ground floor which was nice, so we didn’t have to carry our luggage upstairs."
