The room had a great view and was in a great location. However, it also had a weird, faint smell which I was not sure if it was intentional (beachwood musk) or a byproduct from the last customer. My only real disappointment was that I thought I booked the Beach view room, but when I got there they said I...

Since we only stayed one night, we didn't need the kitchenette. The potential good time at the beach was wasted on us cuz of the weather. I'd like to come back here sometime, but wouldn't spend the extra cash to stay here. We don't need this much space or the view since we seldom spend much time in our room....

The customer service was good, and the room was clean -- redone with modern amenities, despite the scary-looking locks on the door with a giant gap of light coming through where the door does not meet with the frame. I put a chair under the door for added peace of mind. The hotel says free continental breakfast -- note that...

These accommodations were directly across the Street from the Boardwalk and Pier With good parking provided. Our room was not available until later in the afternoon and there were no makings for coffee provided although a lovely coffee maker was in the room. Great location!

Our first room was right in the midst of the smoker's balcony. I have asthma so luckily, they were able to give us a different room that ended up being bigger and with a kitchen. The hotel has been remodeled but they have gone cheap in a few places. We loved our view and would stay again.

I was expecting a room with a better ocean view for 30dollars more that i paid! Open the window you see nothing. You actually have to go out side in that little balcony. It would be really better if its more look like the one in the picture that you can actually see the ocean/sunset/sunrise. Staff was really nice the...

Casablanca Inn was a great place to stay in Santa Cruz. A perfect location if you are just passing through for the night but would like a little beach time . Across the street from the pier. The sound of the Sea Lions barking is wonderful !!!

So I was very apprehensive but I am so glad I was proven wrong. We had a two queen family room overlooking the volleyball court and the water. So the room was roomy, clean, and had a great view. There are little things about the hotel that can be improved but if your looking for location, view, and pet friendly...
