Very helpfull staff, even though the campground was full the overflow part was prepared in a minute as a nice spot with firering. Nice little shop, clean pool. Laid back approach, nice campground with very nice RV and tent locations. A real campground that you have to spend the night on your journey in Western California

We made reservations directly with Scott at the KOA. I told him want I needed to rent for our families and he suggested 2 cabins (#84 & #85) together on a hill. It was perfect!!! Very reasonably priced. He gave us contacts and info for local activities to make arrangements prior to arrival. For a very small fee, I had...

We arrived there to stay for one night in October in our 32ft RV. We managed to get a full hook up (the site was not very booked at this time of year), but found the site pretty basic in terms of what it offers. We managed to find one 'snowy' tv channel (if you have this option available), had...

What really stands out about this property is that it has some very nice tent camping sites, most of which offer a degree of privacy and avoid the parking-lot effect that many KOAs tend to have. Also, it is a 15-20 minute drive from the nearest major highway or populated area, so no road noise. On the negative side, the...

You can bring a tent, RV/trailer, or rent a cabin. The only problem was that we were bothered in the middle of the night by guest setting up their area. They have several bathrooms and showers. Also they have a pool and general store.

My family and I love The Santa margarita KOA campground. We have busy lives. It was so awesome to have quality time with my family. The jumping pillow was so much fun. We All jumped on it. We stayed in a 4 person camping kabin. We loved it. It was rustic. It added to the experience. The bathrooms and showers...

This is not a hotel, it's a campground. The facilities are much, much better than most campgrounds. The owners are super nice. We had a great time!

We stayed for 4 days and had a great time. We hiked and picnicked at the lake our first day. We don't drink, however there are vineyard everywhere open daily for taisting. Our second day we drove to nearby Pismo Beach State Park Vehicle Recreation Area. You can drive your vehicle for miles down the coast and on the sand...

We went there for our family vacation because we were looking for a get away with not a huge price tag. The lodge we rented was nice and clean. The area smelt of sewage and there was a pin of goats that belong to a employee just down the hill from our lodge. They like to make noise all night....

Was kept awake until 3:30am by a party (lights, music, lots of alcohol, profanity). The partiers had a great time but my wife, two young daughters and i did not. There was no security guard / watchperson so i repeatedly asked for quiet without success. Also had to ask 10 teenagers who were smoking pot 20 yards from our tent...
