It's one thing to claim you are environmentally friendly. It's another to prove it in everything you do. The Solaire Inn and Suites, the first entirely eco-friendly hotel in the Santa Maria California Region, does just that.Water is our most precious resource. Low flush toilets and low flow showerheads were installed in every guest room at the Solaire Inn and Suites. Our low flush toilets save over half a gallon of water with each flush compared to regular toilets. Native and drought landscape around the hotel also helps reduce water use.We believe that every bit helps, no matter how big or small. We make it easy for guests to recycle and conserve resources when they stay at Solaire inn & Suites. Recycle bins are located in every guest room and throughout the property. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby rather than delivered to every guest room, and guests are encouraged to re-use their bath towel. This summer, 100 LED lighting will be in place. In addition, we will also be offering an Electric Car Charging Station. The Solaire inn & Suites® hotel is conveniently located near several area attractions and local points of interest. Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts theater, the Santa Maria Speedway, the Santa Maria Public Airport, Vandenburg Air Force Base and The Natural History Museum are all just minutes away from this Santa Maria, CA hotel. Nearby cities include Pismo Beach, Lompoc, San Luis Obispo, Shell Beach and Avila Beach. The hotel is nestled in the foothills of Santa Barbara County wine country. Explore the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail that runs through the area showcasing miles of sprawling vineyards. Several golf courses are in the area along with a number of lakes and beaches. There are many restaurants, cocktail lounges and shops close to the hotel.

The room was okay. It was clean and things worked. The breakfast was very minimal. My complaint was the trash truck waking us at 2am. It was extremely loud and startling! The bed was comfortable enough.
Nice motel situated close to many shops and restaurants. Easy to find.. Large free parking on site. Room very clean and cosy. Much more than i would expect from some motel at the road to stay for one night. Coffee in the room, mocrowave too....More
Checked in late for a one night stop on our road trip. Not looking for anything fancy, and the reviews weren't that horrendous.
Looked at the bed sheets and there was dirt and 4 different types of hair, 1 was unmistakably the hair of a...More
I travel throughout the Central Valley of California frequently on business and an overnight hotel is vital. About two weeks ago I stayed at the Solaire Inn & Suites. Not sure where the Suites would be, but this is an outdoor entry motel that appears...More
