The good news is that the bed was firm and the bedding newer. Other than that, book a reservation and don't just show up. We never saw anyone in the office and got our key from the housekeeper. After calling the number on the office door and getting a recording my husband heard the housekeeper upstairs and got her attention....

It may be quaint, but, the rooms are clean and quiet, the bed is super comfortable, the internet worked great, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I travel for business and stay in a different hotel nearly every night, so as long as the bed is comfortable and the bathroom clean with good water, I am happy. For...

Overall the rooms are pretty small but they are cozy. Could of been a bit cleaner and the breakfast could be a little better as well. My stay was fine, I would stay there again especially because everything is walking distance and the staff are great!

The place was clean and the people were respectful. The rooms are a little small but everything worked great throughout. The people at the front desk were kind and courteous and would help with any forgotten amenities.

With a total of only 3 or 4 properties in SP, this facility is a no brainier. If there were 20 places in SP, this would still be my choice. The " old school" ambiance, the location, the ownership, housekeeping. All tops in each catagory.

I was on business travel on the road and up against a deadline so calling from the road was a bit hectic and it was late in the day. Had my husband make online/web reservation, which went very smoothly. After hour arrangements went smoothly, thanks to Peggy who handled my reservation. It is a delightful and clean establishment with all...
