Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, relaxing. Forces you to happily unplug and unwind, and will realign your chakras! The brothers who run this respite will make you feel so welcome and at home, you'll find yourself never wanting to leave. Honestly, the cost is beyond reasonable for the beautiful break you will experience. Clean, private, good sized cabins, five minutes to lakes...

If you're traveling east on Hwy 49, the Yuba River Inn lies on the tail end of Sierra City, which is not too far from the nose-end of town. This neck of the country is absolutely stunning. Tall trees, beautiful rivers and lakes (even in a drought) and impressive spikes of mountains at every turn. ANY inn, b&b or hotel...

We went with a group of people and rented all the cabins out for our group. For a campground the word clean seems like an odd choice. This place was so well kept and clean! We had the smallest of the cabins and it was so cute and comfy. They have 2 bedrooms, duplex styles all with kitchens. Ours did...

We enjoyed our stay at the Yuba River Inn. We stayed in one of the smaller, more rustic, log cabins that did not have a kitchen. We loved the authentic rustic nature of the place. Yes, the floor sloped in one corner and there was bare bulb lighting, but for us, that just added to it's charm. We were very...

Well, we just got home from our annual vacay in Sierra City and stayed for 8 nights at the Yuba River Inn again. It is our favorite place up here and so beautiful with all the pine trees. You can just hear the river from the cabins. We had our favorite little cabin again. It was so peaceful that my...

We vacation here at least once or twice a year, and always enjoy ourselves. The cabins are comfortable and in beautiful wooded setting. A short walk thru the woods and you are at the rivers edge. Lots of great hiking and lakes near by, as lovely as Tahoe but no crowds!

Great location to just hang out by the Yuba river or as a base camp for exploration of the spectacular Sierra Buttes, lakes region, Sierra Valley, etc. Owners are friendly, helpful and can be very humorous. Cabins are cozy but spacious, and well furnished. Prices are very competitive with other cabin-based "resorts" in the area. Very dog friendly as others...

There were 2 small families on a long weekend vacation with 3 dogs, 2 large and 1 medium size. We had plenty of room to move around and private spaces as well. There are at least a dozen cabins on the outskirts of this small rustic town to suit almost any taste and need. Ours was a 2 bdrm one...

We stayed at the Yuba River Inn the 3rd week of September that is a really good time of year to go if you like hiking. The weather went up to a high of mid 70's and there were very few bugs. The YRI is a great place to stay if you are looking for a rustic cabin-type of place...

We stayed in the Madrone cabin October 12-14, 2013 for 2nights. It was super clean, the key was in the door when we arrived, and all appliances worked well. This cabin had 1 double bed and 2 twin beds, and kitchen, all in 1 L-shaped room without dividers for privacy. Towels were provided for 4 people and there were 2...
