Tranquil and surreal. Several pool options. I definitely recommend the Temple Dome, however if naked people bother you, I'd recommend holding off on the Temple Dome. Clean and safe. Philosophy Cafe is definitely worth going to, even if soaking in a natural hotsprings isn't your thing. Good service, good prices, excellent food!

I went to Sierra Hot Springs to relax and enjoy the Perseid meteor shower. I had a wonderful time, and want to go back, ASAP. I do have a couple of minor concerns. I stayed at the Globe Hotel, a mile+ away from the main resort. The room was surprisingly small, and I barked my hip trying to slide between... More

Stayed at Globe Hotel, June 18th. WiFi not working! Checked at the Lodge, & window person very hostile !..said he was only the 'security' guard. We tried to stay & use the WiFi in the lodge, but other lodge visitors were hostile and objected to our presence. So, went back to Globe Hotel & listened thru VERY thin walls to our... More

I recent visited Sierra Hot Springs for some much needed R&R. Stress levels are super high right now. The variety of different pools makes this hot springs very attractive. One downside is having to walk quite a distance to each of the pools. Another issue I had was the lack of shade at the large Meditation pool. Also, the filtration... More

I can't say enough good things about this place. Great management, incredibly low prices, crystal water, often no sulfur at all depending on time of year ... This place is less formal than Harbin, also slightly less hippie-ish at the same time, in that there are plenty of people in swimsuits, it's incredibly clean, and there are families here, something... Here at sierra hot springs we chose to camp in our campervan, loved these hot springs, it was quiet at the time and had a selection of pools more private to public to choose from, the living room and communal areas were super cosy, home style kitchen amenities were also complete.

this place is amazing. it's quiet and peaceful. the landscape is beautiful. we got there at the magic hour, and the mountains and sky were gorgeous. clothing is optional and honestly, i was the only one in the meditation pool in a swimsuit but i didn't feel uncomfortable. no one spoke and the silence was both appreciated and calming. the... Our room was small and looked well used, but the bed was comfortable and the views idyllic. Philosophy cafe had delicious food when it was open and we cooked meals on the community kitchen when it wasn't. It was clean and everyone was very friendly. Last time i was here they had some very rustic rooms , and i felt that added to the charm, they centralized the tubs, bummer , they used have dozens of private tubs here , and the new tubs are nice. I will coming back to spend some time here, with the feather river near by you can not go... More
