Had to leave a review for a place I became comfortable with. like most people in the beginning I was skeptical about staying at a Motel 6. it does definitely get a bad reputation but after stumbling across this particular one because of a last minute decision a became my go to place in Simi Valley! it is a typical Motel 6 so if you're looking for luxury this is not the place for you but if you want a nice clean place to sleep and an good environment with wonderful staff you can't go wrong! from the beginning All of the staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I am a very picky person and have a lot of extra Concerns and request and they are always met with the smile! from the maids to management They make you feel at home and do their best to take care of your every need. The property is also really clean. just like any other property there are those days where things don't always go as planned rowdy guests etc.. but from what I've seen they do a good job of keeping this property up and safe. you should give it a try and see for your self! I've been staying here every time Im in Simi valley for the last 6 to 7 months haven't left yet!…
Not the best Motel 6 we've stayed in, but not the worst (by a long shot). Front office staff was helpful and welcoming. Room was clean. Located close to the freeway, but road noise was not a problem. Walking distance to shopping and parks. Only complaint was the lack of shampoo and conditioner in room, which was most likely a housekeeping oversight. We didn't complain.
I have stayed at this location 3 times the 1st was an accident I was actually staying next door at the Hilton if I'm correct and they're rude demeanor made me walk out the door and just happened to walk across the parking lot to the Motel 6 last minute it was just for the night would could really really happen over night when I arrived the front desk staff was very helpful very courteous and me being a very picky traveler did their best to get me in a room right away and satisfy all my needs one staff member in particular I think her name is lucea went above and beyond to make sure that I was very comfortable which made me decide to stay a few more days Every time I arrive she does her best to make sure I have the very best day possible I really appreciate that and enjoy seeing her face when I go to check in as far as the hotel why not I will be honest it is a typical Motel 6 not as comfortable as most hotels but the environment was great the staff was great and it made me feel like I was in a 3 star motel I know that's hard to believe but it's the truth I have went to times after that and plan on staying in that Motel 6 and time I'm in Simi Valley so if you can get past the fact that it's a Motel 6 and not as comfortable as most I promise you'll enjoy your stay.…
It's a motel 6. With that context it was clean and updated. The motel is siutuated in what appears to be a safe area. Towels were clean & present with 2 bars of soap & toilet paper. No shampoo but not holding that against a budget hotel. Doggy friendly at not extra cost. 2 areas for doggies to relieve themselves with doggy bags provided for pickup. For the price and area it wasn't bad.
Great staff, always friendly. My dogs were welcome and thats a big plus. Larry the manager is like an old friend, you would think we knew each other for years. Thanks Larry for concern for my collector cars in the parking lot, clean rooms and plenty of towels. oh yeah free coffee in the morning!!
For a quick nap and in expensive a motel 6 will work, bed squeaks a bit, room smells like a ton of air freshener, front desk agent Tim was polite and helpful, this will do for a couple hours. In a good location for a quick bite to eat and a drink if you’d like to El Torrito’ and very close to the freeway just to hop back on and head where ever you need to go.
Decided to stay here because it's was rated 3.5 stars on Expedia. Very deceiving rating. The floors are filthy, barely swept and not mopped. The sink was plugged up, there was hair on the sink counter like someone had cut their hair over it. look like my 5 year old did the cleaning job. The towels smelled like an ashtray, speaking of which there were ashtrays in our non smoking room. They have a no smoking sticker printed on the bottom so I guess all you have to do to convert a smoking room to a non smoking is flip over the ashtray face down. One of the blankets had a hole burned in it. There were signs posted all over the parking lot warning people to lock their cars and management was not responsible for any theft. The swimming pool is empty with broken concrete around the edges. On the plus side the office personnel were very friendly and helpful. Definitely NOT 3.5/5 stars. It's been several years since I last stayed in a motel 6, now I remember why. You get what you pay for.…
First off the staff is finomial here at this Motel 6 from the opening manager Lucia to the facilities manager. All the staff here are kind and have such courtsey it's very welcoming, and if there is any issue the management team takes care of ASAP. The room are very clean, great choices of TV listings and the internet is great not one problem with it.
Room is clean, updated hardwood floors were clean bathroom clean updated Danish modern look office Staff nice, very accommodating. room was expensive for a Motel 6, but cheaper than anything else in the area.
Interior is sort of IKEA - esque - see photos. Pet friendly place. Lots of channels on TV. It's nice to park right outside the door. Negatives: Front door lock was "iffy." Pets can get under bed and could be hard to retrieve. Bed was hard. Very hard to warm up room or the bed. Bedroom floor was not clean. One wash cloth for presumably two people (two beds). One hand towel had someone else's hair in it. Towel didn't look clean. They charge for Internet - $2.99 - Seriously???? Extended Stay is cheaper and offers a lot more and includes Internet. Asked for late check out and got 15 minutes! When leaving another employee seemed to want to pick a fight with me - all because I suggested she could move her car over a little so I would have less chance to scratch hers loading luggage. She came in pie-wedge style - back passenger tires very close to my front passenger tires, making it hard to have clearance to load the front. She let me know she was "there to eat lunch and did not care what my opinion was!" All that for me just saying "Good morning. and telling her I did not want to hurt her car. Corporate looking into her and the bed bug issues. Oh - outdoor medium sized pool facing the busy street did not look clean or warm.…
