Detailed Reviews
Average. Stayed here for 5 nights, and have stayed before. The property needs refurbishment now. The rooms are very tired. I still don’t understand how they justify dropping the servicing of rooms during a stay without dropping the price. That and the tired state of the rooms make it a bit of a depressing place to spend 5 nights

Hello Gareth C, The rooms did undergo a soft remodeling from January to May. We changed the sofa beds, the carpets, the wallpapers, and some furniture as well. I'm sorry you feel that the changes were not satisfactory. We have not totally dropped the servicing of the rooms for stays that are 3 days or more. It has just changed to every two days upon request. We appreciate your taking the time to provide a feedback of your stay. Judy

Check in was easy and nice staff. There were hot water issues and they called engineering and fixed it. We later found out no one had hot water, so I'm glad I called to complain. Television was in an odd spot and we couldn't get it to work. Engineering had to come fix it, too. The second night had hot water issues again. When calling front desk both nights we stayed, the phone rang for quite sometime until someone finally picked up. The last time I called, I was put on hold and I finally hung up. This hotel needs a face lift. On the positive side, it was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful in spite of all my calls with things that were broken. They treated me with concern and were helpful. Nice location, easy access to everything.

The first room they gave me was right across from the ice maker that sits in the hall. We could hear the ice maker motor in our room with the door shutter. Then they moved us to the opposite side of the building . They say they did not have anything else. We could not get any sleep the nose from the FWY was way to loud. I don't think I would choose this hotel again. One nice thing was the breakfast in the morning.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Eventhough the hotel is not even at 50% capacity, they gave us a room next to a person that was snoring, and would not let us go to sleep. They also gave us a room with a handicap shower instead of one with a tub to relax. I had noticed from our arrival that the front desk clerk was a bit aloof, and when I had asked her for a computer cable that I had delivered to the hotel prior to my arrival, she would not acknowledged having received anything until I showed her my ID. In short, our experience in this hotel was not the best, and with many hotels not getting the same level of foot traffic due to Covid, I was surprised that the staff would not even greet you with a smile.

First of all, they did not honor my request. I am hearing impaired and need a room on the top floor as vibration such as someone walking above will wake me. Sure enough, someone right above me, back and forth at 5:30 am, grinding their heels into the floor like a drill sergeant. In addition, through the night a loud banging kept occurring, waking me several times, though some of them I was already awake as I could not get back to sleep. A high price for about 3 hours of sleep. I will not stay here again. What a waste of my money.

Location: The hotel is located close to a WalMart on the westside of Simi Valley. Easy access to the Freeway and close enough to anything you need in the area.
Check-In: Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly.
Room: It is a Courtyard, so all rooms are similar. The bad part is the TV as it is not facing the bed and you can not turn it enough without the closet being in the way. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The room was not too clean and the bedsheet was dirty, so I needed to change it.
Room Service: They do not offer room service.
Breakfast: Did not use it
Staff: Front desk was friendly. Cleaning crew DID NOT WEAR masks, even though Marriott advertises this all the time.
Concierge Service: No concierge service
All over all: It is a Courtyard, so you know what to expect. At the same time, it is way too expensive for a Courtyard, but the only option in Simi Valley.

Large room, bed and bath. Clean. Not top of the line but better than average as all Courtyards. Halls and elevators clean and in good shape. Desk staff helpful. Breakfast was good, and Starbucks on site. They have a pool but it is shaded, wifi worked fine on my devices but I had issues with PC. Near industrial area, close by dining options. I liked the roll out desk under the base desk large work area.

This hotel is VERY NOISY! We heard traffic all night long. Someone in the room next store took a shower at 12:30 am and that was loud too. Fridge was loud. You could hear people talking late at night inside and outside. We only got 1 coffee packet in our room for 2 people. Way overpriced for what it was. Room is old. Would never stay here again! We got only a few hours of sleep both nights we stayed. Just awful!

If you are visiting Ronald Reagan Presidential Library this is a good option for a reasonable hotel close by. Room was large. It was better appointed than we expected. Fine for one night stay. We thought breakfast are included but it wasn’t. There was a bar that was open in the evening.

Filthy mattress on fold out sofa. It was disgusting. Had to ask for sheets and pillows for it.
Would not recommend or stay here again .
Front desk service was good. Housekeeping brought pillows and no sheets.
Location is quite. But, there is zero view. Overall not an experience I care to repeat.
